Who won what, Wednesday 17th March

Tikay10Tikay10 Member, Administrator, Moderator Posts: 171,887

Afternoon.

A quiet Wednesday on all fronts, except another amazing day's racing at Cheltenham.

Traffic was thin to middling, & it was a bit annoying to see the Main come up more than £700 shy.

Not many familiar faces in the write-up today, so it's been very difficult to write. And that means it will be really tough read.

£700 7 @ 7 £1,274

£1,000 BH £1,340

£8,000 Predator £8,000

£2,000 Mini £2,095

£1,500 Mega £1,680

£2,500 Sheriff £2,500

£1,500 Reload £1,758

£1,500 Turbo £1,560

£2,000 Quicky £2,000

£1,000 MidEx £1,140

    7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£1,274)

    kolomish took 7 @ 7. He seems to just single table 1 MTT every few nights. His last three MTT's over a 7 day period ended with these results;

    98th of 102

    98th of 102

    93rd of 101

    How about that for consistency?

Not sure we should read too much into that, but if I had to, I think it suggests he tried to build a stack early.

Solid start for Blaiseeee, 3rd in a £500 BH that ran earlier, then took the £1k BH. He was 3rd in a Main last week too.

IamAll_en has been cashing all over the shop, including 3rd in the Sunday Major 3 nights earlier.

    £8,000 Predator Bounty Hunter (£8,000)

I have no data on the winner other than 3rd in a Quickdraw some 9 months ago, but he not only took last night's Main, but he had Melty back in 2nd.

    £2,000 Mini Predator (£2,095)

A third win of 2021 for jakescol - BWBH, Mega & now Mini. He made the last 2 tables of SPT Online too for over £2,300.

An excellent result for Glenelg in 5th.

zzgoose ran 6th, after winning a £1,000 BH 24 hours earlier.

Just missing the Final was the ever reliable & consistent @Allan23.

    £1,500 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,680)

A month to the day since he won Mega, Froozle repeated the trick. Other results this year include MidEx, and a big-field Mini which netted him just over £1,000.

2nd was cmads96 who has only been here some 18 months but his results have always been profitable, & include wins in Mega & Midex, with a best result of 2nd in Hitman Main for £950 last autumn.

In 4th was The--Don. It's taken him 8 long years here to play 728 MTT's, so that's about two per week. Even @Duesenberg plays more than that. He does thoroughly enjoy MTT's though, one can tell from his warm & wholesome comments at the table.

    £2,500 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£2,500)

In the morning, Granite89 busied himself playing £30, £50 & even £100 Heads Up Hypers, then returned last night to play the Main (blanked it) & Sheriff, which he won.

2nd was long-standing Sky Poker regular EASYFIX, who has been here since day 1 unless my memory deceives.

Reload went to elvisg1972, last spotted running 4th in the Predator won by AKAscotty exactly a week earlier.

4th was or8treacle, who used to be a Forum regular but seems to have gone under the radar of late.

wallfan88, 2nd in Summit on Tuesday, was 6th.

    £2,000 Quickdraw (£2,000)

Quicky went to Jessieak, with Dog Bloke 2nd & yet another AKAscotty final.

Sympathy to PKRPar who made the Final but got exactly zilch. To be fair to him, he appeared to be somewhat tired & distressed last night.

I've been on Sky way longer than eight years. I'm pretty sure I first played when you could play using your Sky TV remote but even if it wasn't that far back, it was certainly back in the noughties.

Maybe Sharkscope doesn't go back that far any more or maybe I was cash only for a long time. Odd nevertheless that it only looks like I started in 2013.
