Morning.
UKOPS got underway last night, & with such lovely weather it was far from ideal, but the numbers were pleasantly strong, with all 6 UKOPS events covering nicely. In total, prize pools exceeded guarantees by some 45%. Another 6 days like that would do very nicely indeed, though that's unlikely, especially if the weather stays good across the Easter weekend. Still, it's off to the best possible start, & we can't ask for better than that.

UKOPS 01 £3,000 Bounty Hunter (£4,460)
Well this was a terrific start, as MAGPIETYKE was winning his THIRD UKOPS event inside the last year. Can anyone top that? Last Easter he won UKOPS 44, at Xmas he won UKOPS 24, & now he adds UKOPS 1. He's a regular in the 7 @ 7 & has filled all the podium steps in that in 2021, but UKOPS is quite a step up. Well done Karl, delighted for you.
2nd was glencoelad, who has been with Sky Poker 12 years or more & always makes a steady profit, despite being of similar age as me, perhaps even older.

UKOPS 02 £15,000 Bounty Hunter (£20,000)
Here's another player no stranger to winning a UKOPS - Climwinner. He won UKOPS 09 at Xmas for £3,570, and in taking down what was last night's Main Event he took slightly more this time, £3,825. Even better, he gained entry via a £2.20 Frenzy satellite, though he did play a bunch of them. Even so, that's a lovely ROI. He had a hot spell in December, winning two Mains, 3 Quickdraws & a Turbo, so he has a terrific CV.
It's almost exactly 12 months since runner-up esme2010 last appeared in a Results Thread after he held off The Bates & Destinycod to win Sheriff.
3rd was newdaddy, who won Quickdraw a few nights ago, & now revels in a Sharky Rating of 96, which translates to "handy".
Super_Oli was 5th, but drew a UKOPS blank otherwise, though he did run 4th in the non UKOPS BH @ 19.30. Seems like a profitable session to me.

UKOPS 03 £4,000 Mini Bounty Hunter (£6,930)
I don't know AdamSD91 from Adam but he had a belter of a night. He began by binking a £220 UKOPS High Roller seat in the 934 runner 6.30pm Freeroll, then went on to take down the UKOPS Mini for over £1,100. Love it.
2nd was old-stager Darty, with lukeylund9, who has a winning record in the nightly Mega, a fine third.
Shelley7 was 5th with neenio in 6th.

duncan1979 took this. Not a familiar name, but he has some black type on his pedigree, with a Sharpshooter win & 2nd in a boomlet BWBH, both last year.
5th was 2Geronimo, who is a regular in the Daily Forum Comp & is doing well in MML.
Swimmr (6th) only returned last night after a 2 month absence.

newdaddy (5th) became the first player in this series to make two FT's.
Meanwhile, Essexphil, won began the week by winning the £1,000 Golden Ticket, finished 6th. I understand he uses a personalised version of GTO.

It's taken thetimkrul 7 years to play just 40 MTT's, and this was far & away his best ever result. Maybe we'll see a little more of him now.
loosecamel had a thoroughly enjoyable evening - as he always does - climaxed by 4th place here.
6th was PKRPar, who has one of the most swingy Sharky graphs I've ever seen. It's heading steadily north though, which is the main thing. As Scots go, he's actually quite likeable.

Think I might play for the first time in ages. Should lead to me being out by 7.15
Was in two minds wether to even play last night after a horrendous month at the tables but made it worth while and recoups some of the losses for the month, sure I will kindly donate them back over rest of events 😂.
