    Finally somebody who can be a convincing Reacher. I might actually be able to watch it without stifling a laugh.

    All Netflix need to do now is get a Dan Sheppard series sorted, another great fictional character from the pen of Stephen Leather. If anyone needs evidence of his work, check out the films Tango One, The Bombmaker, The Foreigner or The Stretch all based on his earlier works. Then my viewing life would be really complete.

    Unless Tom Wood (Tom Hinshelwood in earlier books) can sell his Victor character to them as well. Then that would truly be Nirvana.

    I always thought that it was a mark of just how good an actor Tom Cruise is that, most of the time, he made a believable Reacher. Even though he was half the size.

    It is a bit like Mark Francois being an MP. Except the believable bit, obviously.

    i will get around to watching this but i hope its not like Taken and Taken 2 with Liam Nealson in the films, the series they done of Taken reminded me of the series The A team same situation but in a different place different actors thou i still watched the the A team film ..

    As for Reacher , films were first like Taken, is it going to be the same thing , situations along the same lines as every other where he comes in saves the day just different actors different era ..

    First few episodes will no doubt be entertaining but then same old same old same as the films like Mission Impossible only as Tom Cruise was mentioned ..

    seems like the A team series set the standard for situation repeat repeat different location and beat the bad guy ..

    They are apparently basing each series on one of the books.
