Morning.
MTT traffic last night was generally about what one might expect.
The main excitement yesterday for SB&G, & the whole online Sports Betting industry, was of course the Grand National. It's so weird that some people describe it as "the greatest horserace on earth", but it's far from that - it's just a handicap, so is not even close to being decent. It's certainly a fascinating spectacle though, if you like that sort of thing, & it seems that half the nation enjoy a bet on it - Sports Betting traffic was absolutely monster right across the industry yesterday.
Later, attention switched to the golf, where Justin Rose got knocked off his perch by Hideki Matsuyama of all people. He's a lovely guy & a great golfer, & I don't think anyone would complain if he won it. I can see the red-top headlines already - Master Matsuyama.

7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£1,134)
maccol took 7 @ 7 for the 2nd time in exactly 2 months. He tends to play just the 7 @ 7 & Reload each night, & does OK in both.
In 2nd was LiamRynn, who began the day by winning a £750 BH for £187.
Taking 11 head prizes on the way to 5th place was MARK277 - he occupied the same place in UKOPS 40 last week for a useful £750.

What a month Langua has had. After treading water for ages (over 12 years) he's suddenly become a beast, & in the last few weeks has finished both 1st & 2nd in Minis, 1st in Sheriff & now takes down a £1k BH. An amazing transformation.

I may have caused mild offence a few days ago when I described someone as a "surprise winner". Perhaps unexpected would be a better adjective. Either way, iceer was an unexpected surprise winner of last night's Main. He did win Quickdraw on Xmas Day, & then a month later - Burns Night - was 3rd in Mega, but that's about it since 2015. And for the icing on the cake he won entry via a £7.20 Satellite. Excellent.

spyant1 has not had too many results of note. The last time he featured in these threads was in August, & that was also in a Sharpshooter Mini, on that occasion he was 3rd behind @robbo343 & @TVSpice.

I find it really interesting how some players do well in particular tournaments, & Jscorgie is a great example. In the last 3 or 4 months he has pretty much owned the nightly Mega, with final table finishing positions of 1st, 1st, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th & 6th. He's not the complete player yet though, he's still not finished 4th in it.
Maybe The Bates does better in Mega, I don't know, but there can't be much in it.
2nd was Seivehead, with GELDY popping in & nicking third place money.

£2,000 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£2,000)
And here's another example of a specialist in a particular MTT - The Bates registered his 4th Sheriff win in the last 2 months. Throw in 2nd three times & you have a a player who really deserves a C & D tag. Earlier in the evening he was 4th in the £1k BH too. If he carries on like this Team Tin Hat will start saying he's employed by Sky Poker.
2nd was retired degen Sunday8pm, with TIMBER in 3rd & RCord 4th.

duncan1979 was 3rd in this on Friday, then took the win last night. He recently won UKOPS 04, & has a Sharpshooter Main win on his resume. Sharky rate him at 90, suggesting that either he's very useful indeed, or stats can be deceptive.
2nd was ScottMo1, with Palace Bloke, still smarting from that humiliation at the hands of Chelsea, in 3rd.

big_dam won Quicky last summer, then repeated the trick last night, collecting some £50 more this time around.
In 3rd was PKRPar, who has had a handful of solid results this month.
THETANK, 6th in Mega, was 5th here. He won Thursday's Turbo.

Good choice, there's not much between the two. Love Steven Tyler.
