I'm having a mare in the tikay, mangled 9-9 early doors (shoulda just passed & stayed asleep), & down to 3k at the first break, not had a hand, not won a hand, playing without any zest or zing.
Doing better in the 8pm Main, up to 4,750 early, thanks to some fortitious situations which panned out nicely.
Elsa had a shocker in the tikay. Flopped the nut straight on a 4-5-7 flop, FINS had 5-4, turn came the 4.......Then got it in with K-T on a 10 high flop, Rivered top trips, & still lost to a turned straight! Ugly stuff.
Made the mistake of entering the 8pm and then getting a call from an Irish friend in need of black beer of some sort. Donked off my chips on what was a decnt bluff. Pub calls...
Check raised on the semi bluff in the Tikay and got (IMO) a bad call from someone in the D/Stack preflop and on the flop that led to my exit. I really need to work on my tournie play. On the plus side I made all of the buy in's back in about ten minutes of PLO.
Out within 2 hands in DS - I flopped a FH and played aggro so was sure with his calling that the villain must have had trip Aces until he flopped his FH on the river!! Luckily I checked the river and only lost half my stack phew!! Next hand i raise with AK guy re raises me, i 3 bet, he four bets - ok well i'll go all in - and he called with AQ and binked the Q lol!! Bye bye me

Comments of "has tikay been tutorin you" were blasted but, this is a side of my game I want to improe on - patiece - and at the moment it's working GTD next hand i'll b e out now lol!!

Lol. I never played a hand for a whole hour in the tikay, then popped it up, got TWO Callers - one with Q-J! I nearly fainted!
I just exited the 8pm Main, when I found Aces, Raised it up, & got re-shoved, happy days. He had sixes, & binked, gg me.
Still grinding it out in the tikay, but in poor shape, I'm one shove from busto or double-up. Take 4/7 the former......
Out of the tikay now, too, not my greatest night at the poker Tables, but tomorrow we do battle again.
Oh, in case anyone is keeping score - I was 10th in the tikay, &, 132nd in the DoubleStack. Two places better than Orford. So not a complete disaster......;)
Out of the sleepie - made a horrendous call with AJ against Tallboy with AK - thought he had mid pp so worth the gamble I thought having committed 30% of my stack but no lol!!
Got a double up then and finally on my exit hand found 78 and pushed - called by rats who had A10 and made the straight!! Really enjoyed though, I look forwar to the sleepstack each week now - great tourney!! Out in 12th!!
