Who won what, Saturday April 17th

A very good Sunday morning to you.

First up, thanks go to @Enut @Glenelg @Boxster @PBKR & @waller02 for feedback on yesterday's Results Thread. It's a read-only thread really, & I'm not angling for more feedback, but it does get lonely in here sometimes, so it's nice when folks comment on thread.

Last night was the first Saturday since the latest easing in Lockdown, & the weather was lovely, so no surprise to see MTT traffic was very subdued. I've not checked back, but it was probably the quietest Saturday since the period between the end of Lockdown One (when we had the Boomlet) & the start of Lockdown 2, maybe even since pre-COVID days. Cake & eat it, we can't have it both ways, & the greater good is getting rid of this dreadful virus, so if that means less traffic, so be it.

And on a personal note, this morning I had my second jab, & I can't begin to tell you how happy that makes me.

    7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£1,001)

Special congrats go to djsppiros who won 7 @ 7 for the 2nd straight night. With close to 150 entries, that takes a bit of doing.

In 4th was smartca267, who finalled this back in February. He's an old sparring partner of mine from my PLO8 DYM days, & I never once played him without him without he said "hi" & wished me well. Lovely bloke, old-fashioned type I suspect. There's a modern day school of thought that it's ungenuine to wish your opponent "GL" when you both get it all-in, but I don't subscribe to that at all. I suppose it's an age thing. I do so miss playing the PLO8 DYM's, and maybe one day I'll return.

    £1,000 Bounty Hunter (£1,000)

croxpot23 is a new name on me but he had a splendid day yesterday, finishing 1st, 4th, 5th & 6th in 4 little BH's before winning the £1k jobbie. Now that is a good day.

Great to see Uncle Ungo running into a spell of form. He was 4th in Friday's Mega, 2nd in this, & then, best of all, ran third in last night's Main for just over a monkey.

scotty77 made 2 finals, 6th in this & 3rd in Mega, so he's nicely back in the groove.

After a 1 week absence, RMC1888 returned in style, winning Sharpy Main for around £1,340. That's a whole load of ready mixed concrete.

    £2,500 Mini Sharpshooter (£2,785)

Another new name to me, st0by23, took Mini with flintoff22 having a fine innings in 2nd.

crunchy achieved the remarkable feat of finishing third in a 557 runner MTT without taking a single head prize. Probably been taking lessons from @NOSTRI

    £2,000 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£2,000)

destinycod has been quiet since winning Sheriff a fortnight ago, but returned to form last night to win it again. Don't think we need to worry about his financial well-being though, I believe he's been getting the absolute world over at Grosvenor Poker. Flat track bully imo, he loves those smaller sites.

Friday's Reload winner, roddy28, was 5th for his sole cash of the night.

    £1,500 Reload Rebuy B/Hunter (£1,845)

So many new names (to me) last night, & Reload winner Game is another.

TheBates had his only significant cash of the evening in 4th, though I daresay he reaped a rich harvest at the Spin-Up Tables.

The daily song addition to the write ups was a great idea, a few shocking choices mind you, but mostly classics.
