Who won what, Saturday 24th April - we see a luckme002 treble

Tikay10Tikay10 Member, Administrator, Moderator Posts: 171,844

Good morning.

The next full moon is on Tuesday, though reading the Forum you may be forgiven for thinking it was yesterday. It really was a day when the...err, eccentrics were out in force. There was even a Freedom of Information request asking how many Sky employees play on the site. Oh my. Another gentleman suggested he was too upset to speak, as he thought (wrongly) he had caught someone cheating at poker. Poker players try to cheat? Who'd have thought?

Meanwhile, on the tables it was a normal Saturday, slightly up w-o-w but otherwise very much in line with recent trends.

£700 7 @ 7 £1,036

£1,000 BH £1,240

£8,000 Sharpshooter £8,970

£2,500 Reload £1,776

£1,500 Turbo £1,800

    7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£1,036)

    7 @ 7 regular TALLENT took the win, with lundie 3rd.

    In 5th was Shrimpy28, this being his only cash from 12 MTT's played last night. Hard to believe that as recently as March he won an Avenger Main for over £2,400, & earlier this month he ran 5th in the UKOPS Main for £2,300. Now he thinks he has done well if he can finish 5th in a £7 quid affair. Shame really, as he's marginally likeable. Maybe he's in love?

    @TALLENT 296000 1 £142.45 + £93.32 Head Prizes 13

    @DonWintz 0 2 £85.99 + £38.73 Head Prizes 11

    @lundie 0 3 £52.84 + £34.44 Head Prizes 7

    @DrLove94 0 4 £41.96 0

    @Shrimpy28 0 5 £35.74 + £13.78 Head Prizes 4

    £1,000 Bounty Hunter (£1,240)

    Current Streak Week £11 leaderboard leader KLL-y took this, from BeachBody & Swimmr, who sound as if they may be related.

    Making this final for the 2nd straight night was Tina @karlluke, 4th on Friday, 6th last night. According to my impeccably accurate records, it's the 837th time she has finalled this one in 2021.

    @GFKIJKLL 186000 1 £186 + £109.60 Head Prizes 5

    @BeachBody 0 2 £124 + £66.35 Head Prizes 6

    £8,000 Sharpshooter (£8,970)

    Can't find any previous win of this size for jackbeni17 though he did Final a Gold Rush Main some 6 months ago.

    2nd was K0BAYASHL, with Friday's BWBH winner Rocket919 in 4th, completing a terrific 24 hours for Rocket Man.

    @jackbeni17 2990000 1 £1188.53 + £226.26 Head Prizes 5

    @K0BAYASHl 0 2 £708.63 + £354.65 Head Prizes 14

    £2,500 Mini Sharpshooter (£2,775)

    The Mini fell to andychef78, who I believe plays in the Forum Triple Takedown, & it was a 2nd FT of the session for lundie in 4th.

    In 6th was the oddly-aliased catdog, which I can only assume refers to some cartoon character of whom I know nothing.

    @andychef78 5550000 1 £333 + £79.07 Head Prizes 12

    @johnnyy 0 2 £181.76 + £25.24 Head Prizes 5

    £1,500 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,840)

    A maiden featured MTT victory for Bigcazzo. He has been absent for the previous 10 days, & that seems to be the trend these days - take a break, & return with a win. Don't tell the conspiracy theorists though, they'll think it's a real thing, in the manner of the so-called cashout curse.

    Just squeezing into the top 6 was Danyo0, who has had a banging 2021 so far, with 5 or 6 Main Event FT's, and wins in both Main & Mini.

    @Bigcazzzo 920000 1 £262.20 + £188.06 Head Prizes 10

    @spyant1 0 2 £161.92 + £98.39 Head Prizes 8

    £2,000 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£2,400)

    JScorgie took Sheriff. He's made quite a name for himself in the Mega, having won it 3 times this year & filled every FT position except 4th.

    @Jscorgie 240000 1 £480 + £292.67 Head Prizes 6

    @ylber 0 2 £300 + £156.14 Head Prizes 5

    £1,500 Reload Rebuy B/Hunter (£1,776)

    No amount of searching produced any results for the winner, omrem66, so there's not much I can say other than "well done".

    In 3rd was markutd, who won the Mini on Tuesday & was 5th in the Turbo 2 days later. Been a good week for him.

    @omrem66 1586000 1 £238.52 + £61.01 Head Prizes 7

    @AstarEl 0 2 £142.35 + £55.96 Head Prizes 8

    £1,500 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£1,800)

    cabbaz continues to impress right across the range of buy-ins, 3rd in Friday's Avenger Mini & now taking down Turbo.

    Wacko90 had his best cash since a brace of deep runs in Easter UKOPS, though to be fair we've not seen a great deal of him this month.

    @cabbaz 300000 1 £333 + £234.74 Head Prizes 7

    @Wacko90 0 2 £198 + £102.67 Head Prizes 7

    @POKEOFFU 0 3 £135 + £43.33 Head Prizes 3

    @Buzzzzzzzi 0 4 £99 + £59.06 Head Prizes 5

    £1,500 Quickdraw (£2,060)

    newdaddy completed a hat-trick of Quickdraw victories in less than a month, pretty impressive stuff I'd say.

    @newdaddy 254000 1 £381.10 + £238.36 Head Prizes 8

    @BADBOYBAZ 0 2 £226.60 + £120.71 Head Prizes 6

    @Jakwill 0 3 £154.50 + £124.23 Head Prizes 7

    @THETANK 0 4 £113.30 + £34.69 Head Prizes 2

    @Curt360x27 0 5 £82.40 + £54.03 Head Prizes 4

    @rexsaur 0 6 £72.10 0

    £1,500 Midnight Express B/Hunter (£1,500)

    Boom, luckme002 took MidEx for the 2nd straight day, in fact that's 3 wins in 3 nights as he won Turbo on Thursday. What chance a 4-timer tonight?

    @luckme002 216000 1 £226.20 + £115.82 Head Prizes 6

    @FAS 0 2 £148.20 + £67.66 Head Prizes 3

    I guess we had better move on from the Jim Steinman tributes. I'd actually like to do another week of them, but I suppose not everyone likes his stuff.

    Let's have some Rocket Man, from Sir Elton.

    @TVSpice

    The frequently repeated suggestion was that Sky Poker employees are playing on the site & thereby gaining some sort of advantage. It's a little unfortunate that some players like to point fingers at others, simply because they don't understand how poker works.

    @Tikay10 can never have enough Steinman tributes IMO.
    One of my all time favourite albums is bad for good which was meant to be the next Bat out of **** album for the loaf,but he wandered aimlessly off on another path at that time so Steinman recorded it himself.
    Also a band called original sin recorded Its all coming back to me now which was amazing.The loaf recorded it later and some French/Canadian warbler murdered it later too.

    Agree with all this.
    Especially the last bit.
