Some who know me may think this is a moan - its not. I promise! 
I just want to say that irony is out in force for me this year. Let me explain...
Beginning of the year I wanted to finally put in some effort, re **** my game and goals and do some work off the tables. So far after almost four months I feel like ive dramatically improved my game, I hardly ever vent (wrongly) at the table and most of my decisions are thought out instead of autopilot or I don't care.
I'm playing cash and MTTs so much better and ive made a very decent profit so far.
Whats the problem then you may ask? Well, normally I would have won a few MTTs this year but so far I have zero victories. Again, not a moan. I know this is the way but like I said I just find it very ironic that im playing so well yet I cant win an MTT! Its a message to you all that its important to understand what variance is and not let it affect your play and decisions. I have made lots of deep runs and a few FT's and I am still very happy because in the vast majority of instances my bust out hands/scenarios have been unfortunate. I got myself into very good positions but after that things are not in my control. We can only make the best decisions and let fate lead the rest of the way.
Hopefully at some point (hopefully soon please!) I will string a few results together. SO until then, happy hunting!
