Competitors at a high school track meeting in Utah were given a run for their money - when Holly the dog broke free from her leash and joined in the race, crossing the finish line first. Gracie Laney, senior runner at Logan High, said that she thought the crowd was cheering wildly for her as she powered towards the finish line - only to see, to her surprise, that the dog was running alongside her. Holly even overtook her, dashing over the finish first. Laney laughed it off, saying she wished she had taken a selfie with the wayward dog.
