Just when you are getting fed up of losing hands when well in front - a great game comes along and restores your faith.
Last night playing in the £2.20 BH, I was struggling. Oh, I was struggling.
Nothing was clicking and I was getting close to shove....and off for a cup of tea to ponder my misfortune.
I was dealt AA, right, last chance saloon - shove.
A player named Welsh*** called. He had KK. I doubled up and now he was crippled.
He was very nice about it and we chatted a bit before we were moved to other tables.
Wouldn't you know it - we ended up head to head on the final table, him with a 30k chip advantage on me.
What a time to finally run golden lol. (couldn't remember what that was like)
I won it but if you are reading this Welsh***, thanks for being very magnanimous about it.

Poker can certainly feel awful at times. Unless you run as well as @PBKR does.
