Morning.
Sports fans are truly blessed these days, & whilst we have the occasional chunter about the cost of a TV Licence or subscriptions to Sky & BT, we are gloriously spoilt. It's hard to imagine a better day of televised sport than yesterday, with the snooker, boxing, qualifying for Moto GP & F1, 2000 Guineas, Kentucky Derby, Everton v Villa, the Valspar Golf, & IndyCar Racing. It's more of the same today, with the snooker final (a 2 day affair) starting, the 1000 Guineas, the F1 & Moto GP races, Man U v Liverpool, & more IndyCar racing. Some of these now have at least limited access for fans too - crowds make all the difference to sports action. The biggest difference is in the snooker.
Quite how Lord Sir His Highness Barry Hearn persuaded the Government to make snooker a "trial sport" for spectators I've no idea, but God bless him.

7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£952)
neenio seems to specialise in early evening stuff, and in April he booked wins in events that ran at 19.10, 1930 & 1940, as well as an 8pm Main. Bad news for 7 @ 7 regulars - he's going to start moving his start time forward & bossing the 7 @ 7 now.
PKRpar began an upswing in mid-March & it included final tables in three Easter UKOPS affairs, as well as plenty of bits & bobs. I'm not sure he enjoys me describing him as a "dour Scot", but I can think of far worse. I'm not sure if it's the "dour" or the Scot" that troubles him.
It's rare these days that anyone from Essex gets described as erudite, but I think that applies to Essexphil who was 4th. It really is an odd thing that in the last decade or two it's seems to have become accepted as fact that "Essex" represents poor taste. To be fair, he does support Spurs, so maybe it's true.

spartan300 took this, ahead of nishg.
In 3rd was SzaryPolak who has been under the radar for a few weeks, but bounced back last night - 3rd here & winner of Reload.
PBKR was 6th, & I'd like to wish him good luck for his ambitious schedule tonight, which I believe he plans to stream. Full details are HERE
Doing surprisingly well in 7th was NOSTRI.

£8,000 Sharpshooter (£8,640)
acky1985 took Sharpy Main, & it's not a player we see much in these results threads of late. He has some sterling history though, he has twice won slices of the Final Table Jackpot, back in 2014 & 2016. By way of a bonus, he won his entry last night via a £7.20 satellite.
After just missing the final of the £1k BH earlier, NOSTRI excelled with a tremendous 4th place finish here. Sharpshooter Main is easily his favourite MTT, & this is the 2nd time has has made the FT from only 1117 attempts.

£2,500 Mini Sharpshooter (£2,825)
The Mini went to Mickey83. He's had a rum month or two, but overall a spectacular 12 months. His best result was 2nd in a Boomlet Sunday Major in April last year for over £5,000 (not a typo - 2nd for over £5,000) & he's had half a dozen 4 figure cashes.

I mentioned Barry Hearn in the preamble. He recently retired from many of his Matchroom roles including Snooker. Here's a really lovely interview with the great man.
