Morning.

Another decent night for MTT traffic, and that was despite the CL Semi-Final being on TV.

Anyone watch that Man City v PSG game? Terrific entertainment, both sides in full on attack mode. And we now have at least one English side in the CL Final. Which, by the way, is scheduled to take place in Turkey, currently in the midst of it's COVID "second wave".

    7 @ 7 went to spearsy, who is in fine form. Last week he ran 2nd in a Main for over £700, and he had two wins last night - 7 @ 7 & a little Deep Stack that kicked off mid-evening.

    Runner-up was the Hippo, aka ctbn.

    £6,000 Gold Rush (£7,560)

    gac123 enjoyed far & away his best result of 2021. Previous wins this year include 7 @ 7 (£230) & £1k BH (£300), so the £1,600 he picked up last night dwarfed those.

    It's just over a year since sillymid (2nd) won a monster Mini Major during the Boomlet for over £1,500, & he's had a few other decent scores more recently.

    @gac123 2520000 1 £1015.31 + £589.25 Head Prizes 20

    £2,000 Mini Gold Rush (£2,445)

    Climwinner ended 2020 in fabulous style, with 2 Main Event wins, 3 Quickdraw victories plus a Turbo. He's been under the radar of last but returned to winning ways last night in the Mini, taking 19 heads along the way. He just missed the Summit Final too, finishing 7th.

    In 2nd was ddomo, who has already won a Mini Marksman & a 7 @ 7 this year. He's a big fan of Sky Poker & I really enjoyed this post he made on Monday;

    "if sky poker goes under ... I will be gutted ... Its a unique site .. sure it has its issues ... but its got its great points .. Friendlyness , regs .. no hud works on this site ..so you're just playing the player .. .. the promos are do able .. and it has the feel of a small village rather than a big city .. ... it will only be here for as long as we forgive its slight clumsyness and eccentricities .. I urge everyone to appreciate its good points .. and stick with it .."

    Amen to that.

    £1,500 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,620)

    After being AWOL for the entire month of April, Doughboys returned in style last night & won Mega for £370. Guess he kneaded the money.

    By Mega stack standards, a tough FT, which included TommyD, luckme002, Froozle & Arrogant.

    @Doughboys 810000 1 £230.85 + £136.15 Head Prizes 7

    £6,000 Summit Bounty Hunter (£6,200)

    chambo655, of whom I know nothing, emerged as the winner for his first ever significant Sky Poker score. If that was a surprise - & it was to me - the rest of the FT was mostly very predictable, although I was pleasantly surprised to see Solack in the mix. Not bad for an OAP.

    £1,500 Reload Rebuy B/Hunter (£1,524)

    neely0y0 began the year with 2nd in a big Mini for over £500, & this was his best subsequent score, though he did take down a MidEx last month.

    The Bates was 2nd, & Saturday's Reload winner SzaryPolak (3rd) came close to a double.

    bronte_5 came close to a 24 hour Reload double too, having won it on Monday.

    £1,500 Quickdraw (£1,920)

    There were a brace of "nearly doubles" in Reload, but M10Dembele does the job properly, & won Quicky for the 23nd straight night.

    SPT Online Semi (18 entries)

    Once again, just 18 entries for this, which is a tad underwhelming.

    roddy28 became the first player to win TWO seats, as he binked one on Monday too.

    Mody, TONY509, karlluke & PBKR are all safely through to the target event with over 3 weeks to spare.

    @Mody 26345.50 1 SPT Online - £100,000 GTD

    @TONY509 15847 2 SPT Online - £100,000 GTD

    POTD

    No disrespect intended, but the Summit winner was something of a surprise, & enough to earn him POTD;

    Yesterday's Ian Dury track was well received, so here's another.
