Welcome everyone, to the 2021 Orfordable League, May Week 4 of 4

If you are not listed on the post below then please post your name/teamname on this thread to register, and thus qualify, to be in with a chance of winning a seat into the Friday 9.30pm £11 BH on June 4th.

This runs every Friday at 7.15pm and is a monthly competition but you only need two scores to be in with a chance of a prize, your best two scores count.

Tournament: Friday Orfordable League- 10 seat Deepstack MTT with 12 min blinds
Time: 7.15pm EVERY FRIDAY
Entry: £3.30
Late reg: 60mins (end of Level 5)

EVERYONE IS WELCOME (bring your friends too)- come along and play in a nice, relaxed and friendly deep structured tourney, with plenty of banter, with the chance of a FREE MTT entry as a bonus.

Week 2: May 14th- Winner: Unreggeed player; League leader: Boxster

Week 3: May 21st- Winner: Asho28; League leader: Boxster

Week 4: May 28th- Winner: Unregged player; League Winner: daggers747; Runner-up: weecheez1

RULES:
Last date/time for valid entry into The League- end of late reg every Friday
To qualify for a prize you must:-
1) Register your name /teamname on this thread or
2) Be on the AUTOREG list, which will be updated and posted every Friday
3) To win a prize you need at least two scores within the month, of which your lowest two will count as your monthly total
4) In the event of a tie, a countback system is in place, i.e, should two players have a total score of 8 (one with scores of 2 & 6, the other with scores of 3 & 5, the player with a score of 2 would win) , the player with the lowest individual score shall be deemed the winner.
5) Prizes are NON-TRANSFERABLE
6) Winners shall be entered automatically into the Friday 9.30pm £11 BH on June 4th

Good morning and welcome to the Orfordable League for May. After last month's extra week, we go back to a more normal 4 weeks for May so less time to get 2 reasonably decent scores in and take one of the prizes away. Our prize winners for April, @Dollie & @DoyleBrun , shall be playing in tonight's 9.30pm £11 BH, so I would like to wish them both the very best of luck in their efforts to take it down. I would also like to everyone who plays the Orfy the best of luck tonight.

Good morning Orfy folk on this very wet, cold and windy Saturday, awful weather at the moment. Of the 16 regged players who took part last night, 5 made the FT. They were, in reverse order, in 10th was @-Stuey- , one place above in 9th was @Boxster, a gap of 4 places and 5th goes to @ray01, another step up to 4th is @weecheez1 and finally another gap, this time of 3 places, meaning that @daggers747 took the win, putting him atop the League standings. Well played everyone and congratulations to @daggers747 on your win, very well played sir. Thank you to everyone who played, here is the League Table after May Week 1

Good morning Orfy folk, I trust you are well and staying safe. Here we are at Week 2 (of 4) already, it only seems like yesterday that I was typing the results for last week, where does the time go? Whilst you all ponder that question here is the Autoreg list for May and good luck for tonight

Good morning Orfy folk, numbers slightly down from last week but, only by 4, no reason to panic. Of the 10 that made last night's FT only THREE were regged players, @FLASHJONNY, who finished 10th then climbed 9 places into 9th overall, well played Jonny. Finishing 8th last night was @DoyleBrun meaning he moved up from 7th into 2nd overall, well played Chris. Last weeks top 3 didn't fare so well with 3rd placed @ray01 dropping by 4 into 7th, 2nd placed @weecheez1 dropping a solitary place to 3rd and last week's winner, therefore the now ex-League leader, dropped 5 places down 6th. So, we have a new leader in @Boxster who leapfrogged upwards by 3 places with his 2nd FT this month, by finishing in 5th & on a total of 14, into the League lead, very well played David.

Good morning Orfy folk, I hope you are all well. Here we are on Week 3 already which means there are just two weeks for everyone to stake a claim for a prize this month. The lowest score at the moment is 14, with the next best on 21, so a couple of half decent runs, over these final two weeks, could propel someone into the top two places to grab a prize. Good morning Orfy folk, that is Week 3 done with. Of the 10 FTists, 6 were Orfy regged and all 6 were making their first appearance on the FT this month! In 10th was @wynne1938, 8th went to myself, in 4th was @HENDRIK62, 3rd place was @giesahaun, whilst @goldnballz, who was making his 1st apperance this month in our little tourney, managed a fine 2nd place and last night's winner was serial 1st BB level exiteer @Asho28. Congratulations @Asho28 on your win, well played to you and all who made the FT last night. All of this means not a lot has happened overall, apart from @giesahaun jumping 5 places to 6th and our early League leader, @daggers747 dropping a further place to 7th. The top 5 all remain the same and they are; 5th & 4th are both the same score (25) @THECHIMP & @-Stuey-, sitting in 3rd (23) is @weecheez, still in 2nd (21) is @DoyleBrun and still atop the League (14) is @Boxster. Thanks @SidV79 . Those who regularly play the Orfy will know how terrible I am at it and that I usually end up being one of the first to exit, so was a pleasant surprise to win it last night. Shout out to @goldnballz for an enjoyable heads up battle that went on for 30-40 mins in the end.

Good morning Orfy folk, it is the final week of May and (almost) time for the prizes to be handed out. Can last week's HU battlers, @Asho28 & @goldnballz respectively, lock horns again on the FT? Can the current top 2, @Boxster & @DoyleBrun hold on to their places? Can anyone else break the stranglehold they have at the top? Who knows? Good morning Orfy folk, I trust you are all well. Well, well, well, it is all change at the top with both of the top 2 falling down the League by 4 & 7 places respectively. Of the 10 players who made the FT 7 were Orfordablers and yet none could take the win last night, some luckylad13 just turns up and wins the tourney. Just a quick shout out to those who made the FT last night but did not trouble the top 4, finishing 9th last night (dropped 1 place to 11th overall) was @WAREZ. In 8th (staying in 16th) was @Boomswitch. In 4th (2nd FT- up 8 places to 6th) was @wynne1938, well played to all 3 of you, gg. Onto the top 4 now, finishing in 2nd place last night, rising 7 places to 4th overall, was none other than @stokefc, well played Sean. With his 2nd FT of the month, finishing in 5th place on both occasions & climbing 5 places as well, and taking the most unwanted step on the podium in 3rd is @ray01, well played Ray. Finishing 2nd overall on a total score of 7, moving up a solitary place to nick a prize, after a 3rd place last night is @weecheez1, well played cheez. Our winner this month, after finishing 6th last night also with a score of 7 & climbing a hefty 6 places to take the spoils (on countback) is @daggers747, well played daggers. Congratulations to both our prize winners, you shall both be entered into next Friday's 9.30pm £11 BH (June 4th).
