3.40 Ascot - History writer
A few days ago I would have called you Barking if you thought History Writer had a chance today.
The going was good and the distance half a furlong to short!
I went with the horse to Saint Cloud November 2019 the going was much the same as it is today.
That day he was a world beater! And we realised the key to the horse was the ground.
The heavier the better!
I'm not saying the horse will win today but he has a better than a 50/1 chance!
No horse will be finishing stronger if he can stay up with the pace mid race. The seven places Sky are offering seems like a gift!
Nuits St George makes a seasonal reappearance today he is a class act! Whether he wins today or later is a matter for the gods but he will be tested to the limit by Frontispiece.
Who will love the ground and finished close up to Flyin Solo (one of David's horses that will make a name for himself this season!) I watched Flying Solo on the gallops with Wonderful Tonight last season and honestly couldn't split them but sadly Flying Solo got injured and couldnt fulfil his potential last year. I'm sure he will be on the right side for the punters this year!
So I've done a £5 Each Way cross double on the two races today
History Writer and Jack's Point in the 3.40 Ascot
With
Nuits St George's and Frontispiece in the 4.15 Ascot
I may have blown £40 but I think the odds are worth it.
If by good fortune I make a profit I'm going to have a pop at
Keepers Choice 4.40 Nottingham
Both trainer and jockey are having a purple patch so why not?

VBOL with that Mr Dosh. I do enjoy your write-ups on the horses.
Just my luck I think it finished 8th
But not bad for a 50/1 shot
So close but so far
Even with a potential 10 lb raise he will still win more races this season.
Wonderful Tonight won 2 group 1s
So listed or group 3 races could be flyin solos future
Bellaccio runs tomorrow don't look at the price. he lost a front shoe in his last race.
He might not win tomorrow but if the ground is softer than good he should be in the shake up.
He has 3 runners at Salisbury Betty Crean LA and Rewired will run close but Icannot recommend backing Magenta
Thursday 8.00 Sandown Park
Extra furlong
Ground perfect
Course winner
Dropped 12 lbs since listed win on heavy ground at St Cloud
Nothing finished faster last run
The wetter the better
I love the horse! It maybe raining if thereis a time to shine, wear sunglasses on Thursday! History will be written!!!!!
Thanks @DUNMIDOSH
