Morning.
MTT traffic was pleasantly brisk last night, even by the standards of a Friday, which are always busy. On Thursday evening we suffered that annoying external network issue which upset many players - understandably - but it's amazing how quickly everyone forgets & we move on.
Away from Sky Poker, various UK Cardrooms announced they will be re-opening soon. More than anything, I'm pleased for their staff, & the dealers, who have been without work for so long. Having said that, plexi screens between every player & mandatory mask wearing does not seem conducive to the social occasion that most of us play Live poker to enjoy. Maybe I've lost my spark for Live poker, but screens & masks at the poker table are not for me, & I'll await more normal playing conditions.

7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£1,246)
Until a few days ago 1-Day had been under my radar, but he won the Mini on Monday, then popped up with a 7 @ 7 victory last night. He also ran 3rd in last night's Rewards Freeroll for another £60.
In 4th was jakescol who has plenty of winning form, including over £2,000 for a BWBH win on New Years Day.
In 5th was tonyp142, and he was far from finished for the evening as we shall shortly see.

roddy28 took BWBH, so since mid-March he has now won 3 Main Events (including an Avenger) & a BWBH. In all, he's had five 4 figure cashes this year including two that were over £2,000. He's an out & out beast, for sure. A nice beast, in the same way as a grizzly bear is nice until you actually have to share a table with one. Not so nice then.
tonyp142 made it two finals on the bounce, 5th in 7 @ 7 & 2nd here, with scotty a fine third.
PRhack83, who won Thursday's 7 @ 7, was 5th with wineli 6th.

The Main went to jimikk, & I have no notes on him at all & no history, although I do know he had not played an MTT here for over 2 weeks. Waltzed in, took the money, thank you very much.
2nd was jordz16, who has been a huge winner here over many years, his most recent big win being a Sunday Major for over £4,000 last month.
The most eye-catching performance of the entire night though belonged to IVIystical. I've no idea what he was doing playing a Main, that is way above his bankroll & he generally sticks to £1 & £2 stuff where he does OK. He also frequents the £5.50 Mini quite often, & his results there include 1st, 4th, 6th & 6th. Whatever the reason, it worked out really well, & he earned over £500, slightly less than his biggest ever cash which was in that memorable SPT Online. Lovely job Sam, well done.

The Mini fell to luma7801, who won a Reload in March. He's made several Mini FT's but I think this was his maiden victory.
HAYSIE was 2nd & PKRPar was 4th. And thereby hangs a tale, as PKRPar was chip leader at one stage & may well have won it but for one unforgiveable blunder - he tried to bluff HAYSIE. I mean, I'm not digging out PKRpar, but there are a few golden rules in poker, & one of them is never - NEVER - try to bluff HAYSIE. It always ends badly, trust me. "Pass" & "fold" are not in his vocabulary, any more than "yes, I admit I was wrong".

Swimmr is riding the crest of a wave. In his first 4 years here he was about £5,000 in profit, but in the last 3 months he's made over £15,000.
SwannLol, who collected almost £2,000 for winning the £6,000 BH last month was 2nd.
In 4th was that model of calm waller02, who remains cool & composed not matter how bad things are going. He's also the fella we have to thank for devising & running the MML.

It's been a very long time since I've seen 666bumpy in the winners enclosure, but I do recall he won MidEx at least three times last year, so he's presumably quite handy.

Doooobs continues to do well in late night stuff, this was his 2nd MidEx win in under a month, & he's won Turbo twice recently too. Historically, he does well in the Sunday Major, & he has a lively chance in the upcoming SPT Online imo.

Playing way above his regular level, finishing 4th in Avenger Main was an outstanding performance.
