Morning.

Things to do today, so will need to be brief today.

MTT Traffic was a bit meh last night. It's Thursday today, so numbers would usually be pretty decent, but the re-scheduled Man U v Liverpool game is at 20.15 this evening, so that will be a negative factor. Ho hum, troughs & peaks, ups & downs, bumps & bruises.

£1,000 BH £1,000

    Back in March, Peewack23 achieved a PB when finishing 3rd in the 7 @ 7. Returning after a 3 week hiatus last night, he jumped into the 7 @ 7 & took it down like a good 'un. Tick that box Peewack, tick that box.

    Decent night for skyflyer last night, 1st in this & 3rd in Mega.

    Quite a rare final table this - anyone who plays a decent MTT volume would recognize all 6 names, most of whom have been with Sky Poker for donkey's years, notably anjie1970, scotty77, TommyD & THETANK.

    Very pleasing to see two deep runs by @Shrimpy28, finishing 5th here & then waddling into 7th in the Mini.

    It seems to be wrinklies week, SoLack & HAYSIE have both had some big scores, & now MacMonster has come to the party by taking down the Main. I'm not sure of MacMonster's exact age, but he's in the same bracket as Dollie, HAYSIE, Solack & that crew.

    Think Sky Poker should start advertising.

    £1,500 Mini Predator (£1,780)

    On Sunday b3nchy was 8th in the Mini Major, and last night he took 1st place honours in Predator Mini.

    In doing so he held off a bunch of familiar faces in JACKDAW (2nd) Peter27 (3rd), goldnballz (4th) & spearsy in 6th. In fact spearsy136 won his seat in last week's MML, so he was in for free & earned himself £60.

    Shrimpy28, 5th in the £1k BH, was 7th here. He's been a joy to have around the place, but he's back at work now (he's a Microwave Operator) so we'll see rather less of him. Quite sad in a way.

    @b3nchy 712000 1 £224.72 + £68.06 Head Prizes 10

    @JACKDAW 0 2 £130.83 + £31.18 Head Prizes 6

    £1,500 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,500)

    Almost a year to the day since winning the £1,000 BH, MUPS6869 polled up last night & repeated the trick in the Megastack.

    CABBAGE was as bold as brassicus in finishing 2nd.

    skyflyer & THETANK, who were 1st & 6th in the £1k BH, were 3rd & 4th this time.

    @MUPS6869 600000 1 £270 + £153.61 Head Prizes 8

    £2,000 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£2,550)

    A typically tough Sheriff, with KLL-y 1st, heddoh 2nd, Palace Bloke 4th, & lyonsbob 5th.

    One interesting name was BeachBody. He's been cashing for fun recently, winning Mega & Quickdraw in the last week, 6th in last night's Sheriff, then 2nd in Quickdraw. One to keep an eye on, as they say in Timeform.

    £1,500 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£1,710)

    Third time lucky for THETANK - 6th in the £1k BH, 4th in the Mega, and now at last the win.

    scotty & Arrogant both made their 2nd FT of the evening.

    On Tuesday glencoelad was 3rd in the Main, & he finished in the same spot here.

    roddy28 had a quiet night by his standards, 5th here his only FT, though he did make the top 12 in the Main.

    nikki1974 has winning form in both Quicky & Turbo, & added another Quicky victory last night.

    Wacko90 was 4th, & poor Dog Bloke never received a penny piece for finishing 6th.

    £1,000 Midnight Express B/Hunter (£1,520)

    IamAll_En returned to winning form, taking down MidEx. He's been subdued of late, but he's top class, winning the Sunday Major in March for over £5,000, then UKOPS 13 in April for almost £2,000.

    Uncle Ungo was 5th, and in 6th was mastrblast, an alias that need to be read with care.

    SPT Online Semi (20 entries)

    It looked like NOSTRI had his seat booked in this, he & Arrogant had all the chips, but The Nos inexplicably imploded & ended up seat bubbling. No such rookie errors by PKRPar in 4th.

    POTD

    Despite being one of the "senior" (= very old) players here but he can still show the kids how it's done & he took down last night's Main.

    @MacMonster

    If you've not met MacMonster at an SPT here's a photo. (He's the elderly one).

    Cheers man !

    I might be a bit late in the day to have eyes on this but want to get peoples opinions on mental health issues. I dont know if mental health issues are the right term as I'm not currently depressed or anything as I've battled that in the past.

    My issue is linked to one bad nights play will put me on tilt for a week or more. This leads me down very dark path. I'm a gambling addict with all the steps in place to avoid gambling. However as some gamblers may know you can turn poker into gambling ... playing too high .. chasing losses ... not stopping etc.

    I've turned the corner now , I can always tell because there is that much disparity in my game.

    What all this boils down to is ... has anyone any advice to the fragile minded ... I can make decent money from this but there's a gap in my knowledge on how to handle losing and losses.

    Cheers.
