Morning.

Well the good news is that the long-awaited easing of Lockdown in England at last happened, glory be. The bad news is that, as expected, online poker numbers right across the (UK facing) industry were badly impacted, & Sky Poker was no exception. Can't have one without the other. What a ride we've had these last 14 months though.

A quieter day in sport, though it was great to see the return of spectators in football & horse racing, though at Windsor last night the card had to be abandoned due to poor weather.

Chelsea play Leicester (again) tonight. I fancy a lot of Liverpool fans will be watching that. Liverpool play tomorrow, away to Burnley. "I'm looking forward to watching Burnley" said no one, ever, but tomorrow will be an exception.

A terrific effort by @NOSTRI to take this down, though binning J-J with 6-6 on the FT certainly helped. I long ago learned that if we don't get it in bad from time to time we are playing the game wrong. He also did well on one of the lesser European sites, running 5th in a decent comp for a few hundred Euros. He's almost like a proper player these days.

Our Main Event winner appears to be a newbie to Sky Poker MTT's, just 17 games on his CV. He's been playing the Main most evenings, & ran deep (12th) in Friday's Avenger.

    roddy & bbMike both finalled.

The outstanding recent form by AlexaAJ continued with a 4th place finish here. Probably the hottest MTT player on the site right now.

    £1,500 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,500)

This went to TamL, not a player we see too often in the winners enclosure. He does have some decent form in the book though, including wins in MidEx & Mini UKOPS.

The Bates was 4th, he continues to have a tough time but he's sticking at it. He had a handful of small cashes last night, before winning a £300 BH that went off at 0030 this morning.

5th & 6th went to Curt & spearsy, both of whom had decent weekends, booking wins in Sharpshooter & Reload respectively.

    £2,000 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£2,000)

tug180 has just played Sheriff & nothing else for the last 5 nights, & his results include 8th, 3rd, 3rd & now 1st. That's impressive stuff.

heddoh, luckme & destinycod all featured on the FT.

    £1,500 Reload Rebuy B/Hunter (£1,635)

Reload went to robbo343, who won Quickdraw earlier this year. He was 2nd in a £1,000 BH two nights ago too.

Delighted to see w4rlock in 3rd, he & I had many a battle on the PL08 DYM tables back in the day, & he was a perfect pain to play against. He's been absent for a few months so it was great to see him back.

    £1,500 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£1,500)

AdLad took this, & he's going along nicely these days. In the last month he's won the £1k BH twice, Mega, been 2nd in a Main, & now adds Turbo to his portfolio.

Bleurgh was 2nd, with the dour Scot PKRPar 4th.

    £1,500 Quickdraw (£1,500)

heddoh took Quicky for the 2nd time in 8 days, in which period he's also won a Turbo.

skyflyer had a frustrating session, 2nd in both Sheriff & Quicky, & 6th in the £1k BH.

We continue with the theme of "most overrated" today, & after Elvis Costello, The Smiths & Morrisey, we now add this complete waste of time - Bruce Springsteen.

I didn't agree with your previous selections but 100% with you on this one, vastly overrated IMHO.

    Okay! I am.

You should have picked 'Thunder Road' or 'Born To Run' though.

Two of the greatest songs ever.
