Morning.

MTT traffic was marginally better than Monday, but not significantly so. Welcome to the new normal. Was good to see Summit covered comfortably though. There endeth the good news.

Did anyone watch last night's football? Wow, what a difference it makes when fans are back in the grounds, chalk & cheese. Loved it. And suddenly Liverpool's CL destiny is in their own hands. Win both games, job done.

Roy Hodgson announced he is leaving Crystal Palace, though it's unclear if he is retiring. As a player he was workaday, just playing for a few teams in South East england. As a Manager, how about this résumé? In fact he's been managing football clubs since before many of us were born.

1976–1980 Halmstad
1982 Bristol City
1982 Oddevold
1983–1984 Örebro
1985–1989 Malmö
1990–1992 Neuchâtel Xamax
1992–1995 Switzerland
1995–1997 Inter Milan
1997–1998 Blackburn Rovers
1999 Inter Milan (caretaker)
1999–2000 Grasshoppers
2000–2001 Copenhagen
2001 Udinese
2002–2004 United Arab Emirates
2004–2005 Viking
2006–2007 Finland
2007–2010 Fulham
2010–2011 Liverpool
2011–2012 West Bromwich Albion
2012–2016 England
2013 England U21 (caretaker)
2017–2021 Crystal Palace

That really is a life well-lived. I wish him a happy retirement, just as long as he does not inspire Palace to turn Liverpool over on Sunday.

Vaatrrik won 7 @ 7 for the 2nd time in 6 weeks. He's very handy, & has been 2nd in a Mini Avenger & won a Mini Major. Very useful at PL08 too, & had made the final of the PL08 £200 Turbo BH for the last 2 nights.

yobbie, who won Friday's Reload, was runner-up.

A lovely double on the night for Monty15, winning both the £1,000 BH & then, a little later, the Mega stack.

2nd was 3wheeler, who can always be Reliant on to do well.

KLLy, 2Geronimo & grinddd filled the minor placings.

    £6,000 Gold Rush (£6,000)

Welcome back The Boo. Missing since last August, I noticed he returned on Friday & ran deep in Avenger Main (8th of 247), & now here he is, a few days later, taking down the Main. Wonderful.

4th was neenio, who had a Main Event win last month, with Mean Machine in 5th.

    £2,000 Mini Gold Rush (£2,240)

LukeyK won a Mini for the 2nd time in 7 months, first the Avenger, now Gold Rush. Any Mini is tough to win, so those who have won it twice deserve a bit of credit.

chrisdonkb was 2nd, with slipster 3rd.

In rather exciting news, Mean Machine, aka GSmith13 was 4th, & as he was 5th in the Main, he gets himself a £150 Final Table Jackpot bonus. (If he is reading this, it'll be paid tomorrow).

    £6,000 Summit Bounty Hunter (£7,110)

What a record Solly has. In the last 9 months or so, he's won BWBH twice, Avenger Main, £6,000 BH, & numerous podium finishes. Since last summer, he has had 15 wins in excess of £1,000. Extraordinary. How lucky can one man get?

Clipboard looked like the winner for much of the way, eventually finishing 4th, with M10Dembele 5th &Sharki0 6th.

    £1,500 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£1,590)

It's not every day a sexagenarian wins a Turbo, so congrats to Mr Channing. Even more impressive, he'd have been playing this whilst studying form for the PGA Championship which is being held on the brutally tough Kiawah Island. And here's a trivia question for NFL fans, including Mr Channing - name the very famous NFL player who lives on Kiawah Island.

We continue with the Rogues Gallery of music.

    We have already outed....

    Morrisey/The Smiths

    Bruce Springsteen

    Elvis Costello

Today we plunge to even greater depths & showcase a band who must have been the biggest con artists ever. How their music attracted fans & sold records is a complete mystery, it was truly awful. I believe their music was called "grunge", which about sums it up.

Not sure I want to play your quiz after what you said about Elvis. Still slightly shocked. Realised I'd have to Google the answer anyway. Fabulous course, so beautiful.

    @NChanning

Fabulous course, yes, can't wait to watch every minute of it - especially if the wind blows, which it usually does there.

I'm a little disappointed you seem to be an Elvis Costello fan, I had you down as more discerning.

The NFL player might be amongst the best ever Quarterbacks, his photo used to adorn that lovely old Caesars Palace Poker Room & I'm quite sure you would have seen it.

Well played @GSmith13, I had the 'pleasure' of him being on my spin up table last night when I was running typically abysmally. This run out sort of summed it up. I thought I might hold when I flopped at 97% :D -
