    In the very first WSOP the champion was decided by voting. All players had to vote who they thought the best player was and that person would be the World Champ. Sadly EVERY SINGLE PLAYER voted for themselves so it was a tie. They then said you couldn't vote for yourself and absolutely everyone then voted for Johnny Moss, (apart from the man himself...don't know who he voted for).

    Learning the lesson from this story I'm going to pick myself to win this SPT.

    Looking for a bit of advice.

    I have registered for the tourney and my name is showing on the list of entrants however the pink bar above the tournament lobby is still showing as "register for tournament" rather than cancel registration which is the usual option after registering for any event.

    Has this happened with anyone else?

    Ignore this I registered for another tourney and went back into the SPT and now appears to have resolved its self.

    FWIW, the January SPT Online began with 396 entries, so this one is currently 111 in arrears.
