Who won what, Tuesday 1st June - wineli wins Summit

Tikay10Tikay10 Member, Administrator, Moderator Posts: 171,844

Morning.

An altogether better night, numbers were much better & both the Main & the £6,000 Summit did just fine, despite the glorious weather.

Today sees the start of the Lords Test v New Zealand. Summer's here, official.

Carlo has left Everton, the only surprise was that he went there in the first place. Nuno, Howe, Benitez, Moyes, even Gerard & Rooney are all in the frame to replace him. Doubt it will be any of them. If you aimed to be a top Manager, you'd hardly be likely to take the Everton job, would you?

    7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£1,029)

    This went to puttitin, who I assume is a golfer. He's had two near-misses in the last fortnight - 6th in Hitman Main & 3rd in £6,000 BH, so he was probably deserving of this result.

    BeachBody was enjoying his 8th FT of the last 10 days, & was 5th in last night's Turbo too.

    @puttitin 294000 1 £141.49 + £57.54 Head Prizes 6

    @BeachBody 0 2 £85.41 + £41.19 Head Prizes 10

    @kvfc50 0 3 £52.48 + £30.59 Head Prizes 6

    @Jess4 0 5 £35.50 + £3.28 Head Prizes 1

    neenio, 2nd in this a few nights earlier, took this. By his standards he had a quiet time in May, maybe June will be better. He won Gold Rush Main in April & has plenty of other big scores to his name so has solid form in the book.

    anjie1970 was 2nd in this on Monday, & 4th last night.

    £1,000 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,140)

    At least three of these know each other from SPT's - ctbn, MattBates & HAYSIE. Would have been a fun FT to rail, plenty of pointy elbows & awkward shaped boxes there.

    £6,000 Summit Bounty Hunter (£6,900)

    Summit went to wineli, which is some consolation for his 6th placed finish in the SPT Online. Around £4,500 from the SPT & another £2,170 here is not a bad return over the last few days, so I can't give him too much sympathy.

    The rest of the FT was pretty much the Usual Suspects.

    I must apologise for spoiling everyone's day yesterday with that utterly dreadful track by Elvis Costello.

    To make up for it, here's some proper music. Enjoy.

    Everton's recent managers are currently managing the no.1 ranked national team ( Belgium), Barcelona and Real Madrid.
    Unfortunately, the manager doesn't appear to be the big problem.
    Some of the p!ayers, on the other hand.😨😨

    Somehow, I think Gerrard has is eye on another Merseyside club if he continues to have success at Rangers for the next three years. Personally I’d like to see Eddie Howe given a shot at a club with a few quid available for transfers. Failing that Everton could do a lot worse than Nuno.
