Morning.
As summer starts to bite, MTT's had a thin night all round. I don't really expect numbers to pick up significantly now until September, so we just gotta buckle up & hang in there.
A terrific day of sport yesterday, with the win in the Derby by Adayar one of the highlights. Adam Kirby was due to ride the better-fancied John Leeper but was jocked off in favour of Frankie Dettori, so Kirby was switched instead to Adayar, displacing Oisin Murphy in the process. In the race he was always well-placed & burst to the front in the straight & quickly put daylight between him & the rest of the field. A day to remember for Adam.
It was a day to remember for Jon Rahm in the Memorial golf at Jack's place too, but for different reasons. He began the day with a hole in one then produced a spectacular round three to leave himself with a six shot lead with just Day 4 to go. I don't know what price the bookies made him to win after that, but I'd guess something like 1/6. As he walked off the course he was informed he had tested positive for COVID & was therefore effectively disqualified & would have to go into isolation for 10 days. It's going to be a long 10 days for him as he contemplates the loss of the title, the trophy, & the £1.18 million prize money. Ouch.

7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£917)
The 7 @ 7 winner has 26,000 games to his credit here, exactly half of which are DYM's. However, he concentrated on MTT's last night & had a trio of nice scores - 1st in 7 @ 7, 5th in a £1k BH & 3rd in a £150 Timed. Incidentally, 2nd in that £150 Times was @MattBates

It's rare that Palace Bloke goes long without a win, & he surfaced here to take down the £1k BH. It's not widely known that he's the stunt double for @MattBates, as they have a remarkably similar physical build.

In 2021 the only way has been up for Jscorgie. A top ten finish in SPT Online last week for over £1,200, & he followed up last night with a Sharpy Main victory worth £1,440.
I had looked in a little earlier & I thought Adam Bromley was going to win it but he had to settle for 2nd. Even so, £900 is handy enough, though one assumes most of that has to be given to Natalie.
These days all @IVIystical has to do is turn up & register & he makes a final. He's still technically a newbie, but in the last ~month he's finished 3rd, 4th, 4th, 5th, 9th, 9th, 10th & 14th in Main Events. Once he sheds his L plates he's going be an exceptional player.
Terrific result too for dameflop, aka Mrs GlencoeLad, finishing 5th ahead of SzaryPolak.

We don't often mention TURN_IT_IN but he has plenty of black type, including wins in 7 @ 7 & Sharpshooter Mini, & he added Mega last night.

£2,000 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£2,000)
MattBates effectively had two wins inside 24 hours, as he won MidEx earlier in the day then took Sheriff. He really does have game, & if he ever offers you coaching, bite his hand off. Strange to think he repeatedly tried really hard to help MisterPJ - for free - but was spurned every time.
In 6th, but penniless, was Graduate NOSTRI, making the Results Thread for about the 5th or 6th straight day. All vanity last night though, as he got zilch.

Anyone here heard of Nolan Dalla? He was the WSOP Media Director for the WSOP for many years, is a long-term pro sports bettor & author of a book about Stuey Ungar. One of those guys you could sit & listen to all day.
He writes one of the best blogs on the net, which you can see at https://www.nolandalla.com/
If you ever have a little time to spare, have a read. You won't regret, he's a magnificent writer.
I happened across this old piece of his a few days ago, & it's a story about @NChanning . I encourage you to have a read, it says a lot about both Nolan & Mr Channing. Click the link & have a read, it's a corker.
