A few tournament bets that don't rely on picking the winner and makes watching each game a bit more interesting.

Glad you posted lucy, I was just about to start a similar thread. I seem to remember we had threads for past tournaments and it's always a good craic seeing what everyone else will be sweating.

I've had a few bets so far, mostly based on how the draw favours certain teams.

17/24 teams scored 3+ goals.


18 goals so far but with Belgium v Portugal playing each other in the next round this bet looks doomed unless it's a high scoring game, a nice 5-5 result would be nice .


I don't think any of these teams have scored a penalty so far.

Worth a couple of quid at 108/1.

Well I didn't see those two results coming.

Sky Bet offered this bet before the teams were announced at 350/1. I held back from backing it until the teams were confirmed and saved the bet in my slip. Once all players were confirmed as starters I tried to back it but Sky Bet withdrew the bet. Seems a bit sneaky by Sky Bet to offer odds and willing to take the bet when teams are unknown but remove the bet once the starting line ups are confirmed.

All 4 players start and an English referee so should be a few cards dished out

Well after none of the outsider bets came in at least the Italy bet recouped my losses.
