Artin, the one-year-old Kurdish boy who drowned alongside his parents and two siblings trying to cross the Channel last October, is found washed up on Norwegian coast 900 miles away - as police release heartbreaking photos of his clothesArtin Iran-Nejad, an 18-month-old Kurdish-Iranian boy (left), was reported missing on October 27 last year after a migrant boat carrying him and his family - including father Rasoul and mother Shiva, both 35, nine-year-old sister Anita and brother Armin, six, (together bottom left) - capsized in the English Channel. Rescuers retrieved the bodies of his relatives from the water but the young boy's remains were never found. Almost nine weeks later, on New Year's Day, the coast guard in Norway discovered the remains of a young boy floating in the water near Karmoy, some 900 miles away (bottom centre). After months of work to identify the remains - including the boy's jacket (right), which he had been pictured wearing - they announced today that the body belongs to Artin. His relatives have since been informed, and it is thought the remains will be taken back to Iran for burial. It comes amid a fresh wave of migrant crossing to the UK from France, with more than 1,000 making the dangerous journey in the last week alone.
