He finally flipped! Farmer who used his DIGGER to overturn car on his land had been 'driven mad by anti-social thugs starting fires and pushing walls over'

A farmer (left) destroyed a car blocking his gate with his digger after being tormented by vile anti-social thugs. His grounds near Barnard Castle, Co Durham, had been previously repeatedly targeted by youths who damaged his property and set fires. Video showed the landowner - who is believed to be in his late 50s - using a telehandler to lift up the silver Vauxhall hatchback before bundling it out onto the road (right). Footage was posted to social media by a man named Elliott Johnson who claimed the tiny silver hatchback which was scooped up and flipped over onto its side was his 'courtesy car'. But it was not clear whether he was the shirtless man seen in film with the farmer in the dramatic scenes. There is currently no suggestion he has been involved in any anti-social behaviour. The footage shows the row with the digger driver, who then plows into the car and tosses it in the air using spikes on the front of his machine. Locals said the farmer, who is based in Barnard Castle, Co Durham, barged it out of his field after being hit by a campaign of anti-social behaviour.

Topless man, 20, who tried to stop his friend's hire car from being overturned by farmer in a digger says he's 'lucky not to have any broken bones'

EXCLUSIVE: Video posted online yesterday showed Charlie Burns (left), 20, kicking farmer Robert Hooper's tractor as he flipped the Vauxhall hatchback onto its side before dumping the vehicle down a country road after reportedly being 'driven mad' by local thugs. The apprentice diamond driller and his pals had been on a day trip from Tyneside to High Force waterfall in Teesdale, County Durham, when the Vauxhall Corsa suffered a blow out. The yellow forklift, operated by an as yet unconfirmed driver, came speeding down the drive towards the car past a stunned Mr Burns who was standing next to the car. With its forks lowered the machine picked up and flipped the Corsa before pushing it out onto the B6277 road. After turning away from the car the forklift then spun around and its tines appear to clip his lower legs, knocking him to the ground. Mr Burns has since been off work and is having difficulty walking after suffering severe bruising to both legs. He said: 'I was lucky not to have any broken bones, it hit me hard and knocked me to the ground. A lot of people have been suggesting we must have been doing something wrong for him to have reacted like that but we weren't. I'm due to give a witness statement to the police in two days and have been asked not to say anything, so I'm not going to say anything more for now.'

Yeah. His legs were so badly bruised it almost stopped him from mooning at a camera and standing to talk to a police officer. Those pictures wont please his personal injury lawyers.
