Who won what, Tuesday 15th June - chrisdonkb wins the Summit

Tikay10Tikay10 Member, Administrator, Moderator Posts: 171,844

Morning.

A tough ask last night for poker to compete with the France - Germany match which, incidentally, was excellent. Still, at least Main & Summit (both with reduced guarantees) got over the line.

Today's sporting photo features Hollie Doyle, who rode a 33/1 winner at Royal Ascot yesterday. It's impossible to dislike her, she's an absolute credit to horse racing.

    7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£840)

nick1980 was a busy boy yesterday afternoon. He played three £300 BH's - 3.30pm, 4.30pm & 5.30tm - making the final in all three, finishing 2/61, 6/64 & 4/72, then by way of an encore went & won 7 @ 7 before upping stumps for the night. Excellent.

bigfatfish is in top form of late & finished 4th, with Voltage charging into 5th.

The hedster just keeps on winning. We are only halfway through June & already this month he has won the £1k BH, Sheriff, Turbo (twice) & Quickdraw, as well as umpteen Final Tables. Ridic really.

    £5,000 Gold Rush (£5,160)

Crushy, aka loololollo, was unplayable last night, taking 14 heads in the 135 runner Main.

4th was Alexa - who cashes in something almost daily - & a great effort to run 5th by MAGPIETYKE.

Pleasantly surprised to see @NOSTRI make a Main Event FT. Think he's won a Main Event previously, though perhaps I'm confusing him with @waller02 who is a Main Event FT season-ticket holder.

    £1,500 Mini Gold Rush (£1,805)

Not sure if the alias of bobstout refers to his drinking preferences or his waistline, but whatever the case, this was his second Mini win, the first being Hitman last year.

2nd was chitface. I wonder if the novelty of that name wears off after a few weeks & they wish they'd chosen something a little more sensible? Rather like a whoopee cushion, I would imagine the joke soon draws thin. Good result though, well done Mr Chit.

    £1,000 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,000)

In the last 48 hours darsh11 probably played over 100 DYM's, but he still found time to play a few MTT's, winning two of them - the £1k BH on Monday, & Mega last night.

2nd was Alexa, who also finalled the Main, with the in-form duo of Monty15 & Dooobs in 4th & 5th.

    £5,000 Summit Bounty Hunter (£6,200)

chrisdonkb, who surely has no enemies here, has been thin on volume recently, but he's upped his game now & it's paying off. On Sunday he was 2nd in the Major to EssexPhil for just south of £2,000, and he took last night's Summit for just over £2,000. Over £4,000 in 48 hours, very nice.

StayOrGo was another missing for the first week of June, but since then he's piling up the results - 2nd in Quicky twice, 3rd in Sheriff, 2nd in Summit & 3rd in Turbo. Just needs a win now.

Main Event winner Crushy was 5th, with Dog Bloke 6th.

4th & 5th were pizzled & scorry77, who know each other well from the days of G-Luton where thy would have shared many FT's.

    £1,000 Midnight Express B/Hunter (£1,000)

bawbaggio has been playing just one MTT per night recently, the MidEx, & in the last 7 nights has completed the full 1-2-3 trifecta - 1st last night, 2nd last Thursday & 3rd last Friday. Remarkable consistency.

Continuing with the music requests, we have several in the pipeline now. This one was requested by @daggers747 who was appalled by the @NOSTRI selection yesterday.

Here you go, a piece of jazz recorded by a gentleman with the improbable name of Eddie Lockjaw Davis. It's actually quite good, or at least the first 7 seconds are.

We have a request already lined up for tomorrow from @glenelg, but keep them coming.

    Good afternoon

I’d like to request one on Rod Stewart’s finest - The Killing of Georgie ( parts 1and 2) please.

So relevant in these troubled times.

Thanks for the write up @Tikay10

Yes was a great game. Many congrats @chrisdonkb, thoroughly deserved.

Also VWP @sarahxxxx who got very UL on the FT and did well against the "usual suspects", played great.
