Who won what, Saturday 19th June

Tikay10Tikay10 Member, Administrator, Moderator Posts: 171,844

Morning.

After Friday's lull due to the football, traffic bounced back to normal last night, in fact for the most part it was better than the previous Saturday. On which note, quick reminder that on Tuesday, Scotland are in action v Croatia, & England play the Czech Republic. Both games kick off at 8pm, so I would imagine The Business will be cutting guarantees for the evening.

On to today now, & it's another wonderful day of sport, including Moto GP, F1, & the final day of the US Open Golf which looks like being a potential thriller, & might even go to McIllroy.

Whatever you do, enjoy your day.

    7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£868)

luckme002 finished on Friday by winning Quickdraw, then began their Saturday session by taking the 7 @ 7. That was followed by 13th in the Main, 7th in the Mini, 2nd in Mega & 7th in Turbo. It must be wonderful to be able to play that well. Am I jealous? Of course.

YOKERFACE took the £1k, we are more used to seeing them take down MidEx, as they did earlier this month & back in January. In fact YOKERFACE holds the dubious distinction of winning the first MTT that ran on Sky Poker in 2021.

    £6,000 Sharpshooter (£6,380)

DustoLucko does not put in huge volume but has plenty of good results, & this was his third Main Event win in 14 months. In the same period he also won a UKOPS, Sheriff & Turbo, & was 2nd in a Summit.

4th was bromley04, one spot better than TIMBER. Those two know each other pretty well from SPT's. Fingers crossed "live" SPT's will resume later this year, COVID protocols permitting.

    £2,000 Mini Sharpshooter (£2,205)

sjl1973 had a near miss in the Main earlier this week, finishing 3rd, & went on to win last night's Mini. They made modest profits here until last November, since when they have won over twice as much as in the previous 11 years.

Runner-up McRatMan last featured in a Forum Thread when he won a Deepstack in.... August 2009.

longjob has played just seven MTT's in the last fortnight, but he's won two of them - MidEx & now Mega. Plenty of other decent scores on his CV too.

    £1,500 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£2,250)

The Bates is slowly regaining his form & was winning Sheriff for the third time this month. He's also won a MidEx in the last fortnight.

tai-gar had a very profitable Sheriff, winning TWO £3 All-In Satellites, and finishing 2nd in the event itself for over £430, so that all worked out rather nicely.

SensibleCod was 4th, with TheSwan 6th.

I have zero data on sean1973, who took Reload.

    £1,500 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£1,650)

spearsy136 has done well in the last 6 weeks & seems to have an odd winning profile, with wins in the £6k BH, Turbo, & Reload twice. That's an unusual mix.

    Mr Cod was 3rd, with the ever-popular scotty77 4th.

    £1,500 Midnight Express B/Hunter (£1,500)

Bawbaggio won MidEx again, that's twice in 5 nights. In the last 10 days in MidEx they have finished 1st, 1st, 2nd & 3rd.

NOSTRI is suffering from 2nditis, he's yet to win a Featured MTT in June but has been runner-up in Main, Sheriff & Midex. He has plenty of winning form earlier this year, including Mini Avenger, Mini Major, Mega, Sheriff & Midex, but he's well overdue a decent win.

23blackeye, 3rd in Mega earlier this week, was 4th.

With no musical requests remaining, we'll have to revert to my choice for now. We started on Monday intending to have a Madness Week, so here they are again with Our House. If this vid does not make you smile there's something wrong with you. If you prefer dire depressing music I suggest you listen to The Smiths, Oasis & Elvis Costello.

    Good Morning
I’m one of the countless people who view these results threads and appreciate greatly the time and effort you put into them, hopefully my name will appear soon, I’m getting close ‘ but no cigar’.

As far as music choices, these have been a great addition and probably deserve a thread of their own ., but for now ( and as there hasn’t been a suggestion forthcoming) I’d like to nominate a fab , uplifting song from THE greatest musical ever…. -Can you hear the people sing’
    From Les Miserables.
    Give it a listen , it’s great.
