Who won what, Monday 21st June - splashies at the double

edited June 2021 in Poker Chat
Morning.

Quite decent traffic last night, with the Main doing much better than the previous Monday, and 7 @ 7 coming in at £1,099, it's highest for exactly two weeks.

In the Euros, the Russia - Denmark game was one of the most enjoyable so far, 5 goals in all of which several were purlers.

Tonight sees both England in Scotland in action, and both at 8pm, so it's possible poker MTT guarantees may be reduced for the pre 10pm stuff. Qualification is too complicated for me to fathom, but I believe England are through already, while Scotland have to win to go through. A system where 3 of the 4 Group Teams go through is a bit weird, but even so, it's a nail-biter for the Scots.

£700 7 @ 7 £1,099

£1,000 BH £1,100

£5,000 Marksman £5,880

£1,500 Mini £1,600

£1,000 Mega £1,360

£1,500 Sheriff £1,650

£1,500 Reload £1,779

£1,500 Turbo £1,500

£1,000 Quicky £1,000

£1,000 MidEx £1,080

    7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£1,099)

    Gnasher made his Results Thread debut yesterday after running 5th in Sunday's 7 @ 7 & he went on to win it last night. He only returned a few days ago after being MIA for a month, & does not seem to have much Sky Poker MTT history. Perhaps that will change now.

    3rd was Kahuna96, with Duchess of Hamilton 6th.

    bbMike won the Main. He can surely lay claim to being one of the most erudite & likeable individuals on Sky Poker although he'd certainly deny that. Really pleased for him. Back in the day he was a mean PLO8 player, & I never enjoyed him being on my tables as I always sensed he was out-thinking me. I've no idea if he still plays the great game of PLO8 these days, but if he does & you bump into him, proceed with caution.

    The Bates made two Featured MTT Finals - Main & MidEx - and finished 6th in both. To balance his range he did actually win the £1,000 BH that ran at 1830.

    £1,500 Mini Marksman (£1,600)

    The Mini fell to TTFC, and I have to say I don't know a single thing about this player. No previous Forum mentions, & no clues on Sharky. The term "TTFC" is a mystery to me as well, so I did a google & came up with;

    "Time to First Cigarette (addiction research)"

    Who'd have thought?

    In 3rd was Beast1905 who fell just short of a very rare double, as he won Sunday's Mini Major. 1st & 3rd in back-to-back Minis is really difficult.

    In 4th was Natnug who has been tearing up the tables of late, booking wins in £1k BH, Mega, Reload & Turbo.

    @TTFC 640000 1 £208 + £68.36 Head Prizes 12

    @Jeffter 0 2 £120 + £11.31 Head Prizes 5

    @Beast1905 0 3 £72.80 + £19.87 Head Prizes 3

    @Natnug 0 4 £58.40 + £51.93 Head Prizes 13

    @235467 0 5 £49.60 + £16.54 Head Prizes 7

    Supermog was 3rd in Mini Hitman just over a year ago but has not been sighted in the Results Thread since until taking down last night's Reload.

    5th was OldTimer99 who has been getting a few nice results of late. Won 7 @ 7 earlier this month & won the £500 BH @ 19.40 last night for the second time in a fortnight.

    £1,500 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£1,500)

    Turbo went to GREGGER01. Not big on volume, but he did win a Vegas package last year, which of course never went ahead in the end thanks to COVID. In the recent update by Sky James he mentioned that SPT Vegas is still in their thinking for next year which would be the best thing ever if it happens. Best not think too much about it though as there's a lot of bridges to cross first. Even so, a little bit of hope never did anyone any harm.

    @GREGGER01 240000 1 £312 + £190.37 Head Prizes 5

    @CuzzyBait 0 2 £195 + £82.27 Head Prizes 7

    @Jaystac 0 3 £117 + £73.12 Head Prizes 6

    @lolufold 0 4 £85.80 + £111.27 Head Prizes 8

    @Bleurgh 0 5 £70.20 + £47.81 Head Prizes 4

    £1,000 Quickdraw (£1,240)

    Good to see a little more of StayOrGo, & he's done rather well the last week, 2nd in Tuesday's Summit for £800+, 4th in Sunday's Major for £1,000+, & now a Quickdraw victory for another ~£500.

    Arguably the night's toughest final, with Monty15, luckme002, KLLy, Dour Scot & darsh all in the mix.

    @StayOrGo 154000 1 £310 + £207.95 Head Prizes 6

    @Monty15 0 2 £186 + £112.04 Head Prizes 5

    @luckme002 0 3 £124 + £50.63 Head Prizes 4

    @GFKIJKLL 0 4 £52.50 Head Prizes 5

    @PKRPar 0 5 £84.38 Head Prizes 4

    @darsh11 0 6 £7.50 Head Prizes 1

    £1,000 Midnight Express B/Hunter (£1,080)

    Dy1an004 usually plays much smaller, so a MidEx win was really special.

    @Dy1an004 162000 1 £199.80 + £93.17 Head Prizes 5

    @sallis 0 2 £118.80 + £65.80 Head Prizes 4

    An easy decision today, & it goes to a very popular guy who won last night's Main;

    @bbMike

    To celebrate the win by StayOrGo last night, here's The Clash with their track of the same name. This was recorded at New York's Shea Stadium almost forty years ago. Lively.
