Almost managed the lot.
Last chance for any guesses for these last 3, because I might as well reveal the answers shortly if noone can get them.
Also, if there's any topics or quiz types you'd like to see, I'm open to suggestions
Next round is a 1-question riddle. It's one of my favourite riddles.
There are 4 convicted murderers in the court room receiving their sentences from the Judge.
The Judge tells these guys that he is going to play a game. If any of them can answer the judges question correctly they all get set free, If none of them can answer, or any of them answer incorrectly, they all get sentenced to the death penalty.
The judge orders them all outside where there is a high brick wall.
The Judge line these criminals up in a straight line, with one being in front of this wall.
He orders them all to face in the same direction, and not turn around.
The judge then tells them he has 4 hats - 2 black, and 2 white - and he will place one on each of their heads.
After placing a hat on each criminal, the judge challenges any of them to tell him which colour of hat they have on and why they are so sure. He warns though, that they cannot communicate in any way, they must always be facing in front of them, and he will only accept the first answer from whoever speaks first. He also reminds them that if they answer and it is incorrect they will all go for the death penalty so they must be absolutely sure of the answer.
Basically;
Criminal A can see B and C's hats.
Criminal B can see C's hat
Criminal C cannot see anyone. There is a wall in the way.
Criminal D also cannot see anyone. There is noone in front of him.
Excuse my little MS Paint job, But this will help understand the problem.
So, which criminal (A,B,C or D) can answer correctly, and what is the reasoning behind it
B just needs to wait 30 seconds, and then can answer with confidence that he has a white hat on.
The reason is simple-if he had a black hat on, then A would immediately answer that A had a white hat on, as he would then be able to see 2 black hats.
