Morning.
6 packs of beer were flying out of supermarkets. Take-away food deliveries by firms like Dominos, Just Eat & Deliveroo had to stop taking orders as they were so busy. Currys were flogging new TV's in record numbers. On the flip side, players had no interest in online poker & sites were seeing really low traffic. It was the perfect storm too, as Extra Time made it worse & delayed the return of poker players to the sites. And that was just the semi-final, imagine what it will be like on Sunday. To every flip, there's a flop, to every yin there's a yang.

On Sunday, Mypot147 single-tabled their way to 2nd in the Major, and last night, again playing just the one MTT, ran 6th in this.

Very pleased for the winner, but what a pain to type their alias, p0k3r5n8k3, which I am guessing represents "Poker Snake".
In 2nd was donz1234, exactly the same spot they finished in the Main, so that's a lovely £1,500 Final Table Jackpot bonus. With a bit of luck that could have been £5,000, but even so, that's handy enough & the player suggested they were chuffed to bits, especially as until they were told they never knew such a thing existed. In fairness, they are relatively new to Sky Poker, but one imagines they'll be here for a while now. Great stuff, well done Donzy.

Faith No More have disbanded & re-formed more times than enough, but they are scheduled to tour Europe later this year, COVID permitting. If you are into that sort of stuff, do try & go see them, they are a bit special.
Here they are with an odd but compelling cover of the Commodores/Lionel Richie "Easy" which became a huge hit & was, arguably, far better than the original.
