Who won what, Monday 12th July.

Morning.

A relatively quiet Monday as we all settled down to get back to normality after the highs & lows of the Euros, which finished on Sunday night.

Much of what surrounded Sunday's game was depressing. The scenes at Wembley as feral youths ran riot outside the stadium, & the horrific online abuse of some of the players. It's just a minority though, as we were reminded by the case of the Marcus Rashford mural which was first defaced by racist idiots, & then, as if by a miracle, we saw what the public really think, as they smothered the mural in messages of love & support. A lovely postscript to what was in many ways a horrible weekend.

    7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£1,008)

    chtiface has previously finished 2nd, 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 6th in the Mini but changed tack last night & won the 7 @ 7.

It was an excellent night for streaming boss Duesenberg, winning a £1,000 BH that went off at 18.30 & then going on to finish 3rd in 7 @ 7. Rumour has it the MML may be graced by his presence for the rest of the week & one imagines he is jolly excited by this prospect.

    darsh11 put in an 8 hour shift comprising a mix of MTT's & DYM's, & was rewarded with 4th in 7 @ 7 & 5th in the £1k BH that followed.

In 6th was pedrobob, a hardcore 7 @ 7 supporter who plays it - & nothing else - every night.

    £1,000 Bounty Hunter (£1,040)

neenio, playing just their 7th MTT of this month, took the £1k BH, the second time they have won this in six weeks.

2nd & 3rd were DivsDreams & Mattbates. Back in 2014 Divs was the most profitable MTT-er on Sky Poker according to Sharky, & he's a Top 20er this year too. Mr Bates is currently 4th in that list, having been demoted a spot last night by roddy28.

    £1,500 Mini Marksman (£1,585)

The rise & rise of roddy28 continues apace, adding the Mini to his impressive CV, which includes recent wins in the £6k BH, BWBH, Sheriff (twice), & runner up in last Friday's Avenger Main. Very good player, who I'm sure I met at a Glasgow SPT the last time we were there. Handsome looking dude.

THETANK was 4th & dear old DiggerMan 6th.

    £1,500 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£1,500)

Turbo went to minter123, who took down the 19.30 £1k BH last month.

MZS had a wonderful evening. 3rd in the 19.10 Rebuy BH, 9th in the Main, 3rd in Reload, 2nd in Turbo, 5th in Quickdraw & 2nd in MidEx. Wonderful consistency & perhaps a little unlucky not to bink at least one win.

    £1,000 Midnight Express B/Hunter (£1,000)

We don't see as much of STAYORGO these days but from a shrinking sample size he still keeps racking up the results, & in the last month he's won MidEx & Quickdraw, 2nd in Summit & 4th in a Sunday Major. I daresay he's getting the lot elsewhere, & good luck to him.

3rd in the 19.10 Rebuy BH, 9th in the Main, 3rd in Reload, 2nd in Turbo, 5th in Quickdraw & 2nd in MidEx, & if that does not deserve POTD I don't know what does.

I was all set to serve up Block Rocking Beats by The Chemical Brothers this morning, but after re-listening to it I'm not sure it has aged well. So let's have some Fatboy Slim instead.
