Brits fully-vaccinated with AstraZeneca's Covid jab may be up to THREE TIMES more likely to get symptoms if infected than those who got Pfizer's, say SAGE estimates



EXCLUSIVE: People double jabbed with the AstraZeneca vaccine could be three times more likely to get symptoms of the virus than those who got Pfizer and Moderna, according to SAGE figures (shown in table). Scientists at Imperial College London estimated 45 per cent of people who had two AstraZeneca jabs are still vulnerable to developing Covid symptoms from the Indian 'Delta' variant. But only 15 per cent of those who had two doses of the Pfizer or Moderna are likely to get symptoms, they said.

    Both me and the missus are doubled jabbed with AZ and we both recently had Covid and symptoms, we were very rough for few days, so there may be some truth in there.
