Morning.
By the standards of a regular Friday, MTT traffic was disappointing. BWBH & Avenger both covered reasonably comfortably, but were well below their 8 week run-rate. Time of month combined with the glorious weather I guess.
In sport, The Open reached the halfway stage & the cream has well & truly risen to the top. The course has been playing easily due to the beautiful weather & lack of wind, so it's not been a great Open so far, and it needs the wind to get up to really make it a fairer contest between golfers & the course.
In F1, the British Grand Prix weekend is under way. Qualifying as we know it has changed due to the new Sprint Race gimmick & so last nights pseudo qualifying fell a bit flat, & it would be no surprise to see the Sprint Race be an anti-climax too. I'm a big F1 fan but the British Grand Prix is easily the most boring F1 race of the year & I'm not optimistic things will change this weekend despite all the new bells & whistles.
Incidentally, there were 30,000 fans at The Open & 86,000 at Silverstone with barely a mask in sight.

loosecamel has had a decent week but ran a bit bad last night, 3rd in this being his only FT from about 20 played. Oucho.

Tedson is more about quality than quantity, & it's taken him around 3 months to play his last 100 MTT's. Does just fine though, on Tuesday he was third in Summit for around £800, & won Quickdraw, & last night he took BWBH for around £2,000. He has some super-sized wins in the last 9 months, including a Sunday Major for over £4,000, & a UKOPS HR for £7,300. Not a player you want on your left. Or right. Or table.
JessieaK & wineli were 2nd & 4th, with Team Lol - lolufold & loololollo - 3rd & 6th.

Tasha has just 110 MTT's to their name & this was only their 8th MTT since early June. Has 2 or 3 Main Event FT's to their credit but this was their maiden victory as far as I can see.
Crushy was 6th in BWBH & 3rd here, and spearsy continued his hot streak in 4th.
SJThompson was an interesting one. Just 8 MTT's to their name, the last of which was in February 2013. Turned up last night after an 8 years on the missing list & finished 6th. Don't tell misterpj though.

2nd was -LEON-. Some fascinating trivia here, the fast food chain LEON was founded by Henry Dimbelby, who is David Dimbelby's son? There you go, told you it was fascinating.
