Poker as we all know has its quirks. Play bad and win, play good and lose. This year ive had my worse run of not taking down an MTT in my whole poker playing days and ive been playing for 16 years.

And it all started when I actually did some work on my game and look to improve and started to play very well for longer. Ive been making a lot more deeper runs with big stacks but then variance has struck and delivered some truly special beats at times. Things that make your mind boggle and sometimes I haven't reacted well but that has been another thing im working on.

Anyway, after more than a week off due to work I was really looking forward to tonight; I fired up three MTTs and made the FT on all of them and winning the first one and having a 3rd and a 5th for a very profitable night. And that special winning feeling!

I just had to share because im happy and want to pass on that no matter results, just keep making those good decisions and it will come.

Go well!!

Well played @CraigSG1, great to hear that the work you've done to improve your game is beginning to be rewarded.

Been a similar story for myself over the past month or two and I've had the odd moment where I've had an out-of-character reaction to a comical beat, and is something I also need to get to grips with. Certainly helps when you can win something every now and again though.

Hope all continues to go well for you in your games. See you at the tables.
