Who won what, Friday 23rd July - Jessieak & Natnug both have double wins

Morning.

Will have to rattle through these quickly, time issues today.

MTT traffic was pretty decent last night, and compared well w-o-w.

The opening ceremony for the Olympics took place, & the officials gave us a new sport - Meaningless Cliches.

"Today is a moment of hope"

"Here is a vision for the future, one that embodies 'unity in diversity', one of peace and respect for one another,"

"This is the power of sport, and an expression of the fundamental values of the Olympic movement. This is its essence."

There are no spectators present, as it's deemed unsafe. But 900 "dignitaries" are watching. Presumably it's safe if you are a dignitary.

I did try to watch the rowing, but it was all a bit too boring for me. It's not really a spectator sport, is it? Perhaps the Rowing people ought to invite Barry Hearn to take it over, he'd soon rev it up.

    On New Years Day jakescol won BWBH for some £2,300, & wins followed in Mega & Mini, plus a Top 10 finish in the January SPT Online for over £2,000. They then went AWOL for most of the spring, but played a decent schedule last night & took 7 @ 7.

    £6,000 Big Weekend Bounty Hunter (£7,000)

    We ought to rename PRHack93 "PRFriday". Their Friday results this year include 1st, 2nd & 5th in BWBH, and 1st & 2nd in Avenger Main. That lot alone came to over £9,000.

    Palace was 2nd, so one imagines the HU battle never lasted long, he does not like to let his chips gather dust.

    £8,000 Avenger Rebuy B/Hunter (£9,200)

    Another big result for JessieaK, & he completed a double too by taking Sheriff.

    The impressive Fitz833 was fourth, with old-stager petebryn 5th. I had many a battle with petebryn on the PLO8 tables, he's proper slippery but a perfect gent.

    In 9th was Mr Avenger himself, the impossible to ruffle Ryan.

    £4,000 Mini Avenger Rebuy B/Hunter (£4,835)

    Natnug continues to win friends & added Mini to recent wins in £1k BH, Turbo, Reload & Mega. That's an impressive CV.

    Runner-up was none other than Stand Up Sit Down Rose, who popped in for a poker session in between luxury cruises.

    Another familiar face in 3rd, MattBates, currently on a health-kick & doing well in the weight loss stakes.

    A word about aynaricol in 6th. At the beginning of May she was a break-even player. Now she's over £1,500 in profit. Might not sound much to Team Big Boy but her average stake is only just over £2. That's a whole lot of profit in micro-stake MTT's. Her ratio of cashes to games played is monster.

    @Natnug 2350000 1 £604.38 + £178.49 Head Prizes 11

    @IrishRose 0 2 £338.45 + £53.10 Head Prizes 5

    £1,000 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,340)

    On Tuesday, yiddioyid took down the £1k BH, & followed up last night with a Mega victory.

    Rather oddly, the 1st & 2nd in Thursday's Hitman Main - BooBoo & KickaStink - both made this final, though only 5th & 6th this time.

    £1,500 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£1,700)

    This completed the very rare double of Main & Sheriff for Jessieak, with heddoh in 2nd.

    MattBates ran 6th, but there were only 5 places paid & he failed to take any head prizes. Gone at the game.

    @Jessieak 170000 1 £340 + £343.73 Head Prizes 8

    £1,500 Reload Rebuy B/Hunter (£1,866)

    We've not seen a lot of baxter 21 lately, so this was a welcome fillip. Won both Mini & Turbo in the space of a few weeks last year, & took a Quicky in February.

    £1,500 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£1,680)

    cabbaz made the Finals of both Sunday Major & Summit in the space of 48 hours back in April, & this was their best result since.

    Dooobs had another decent session. 2nd here, & whilst he could only manage 17th in the Main he collected over £200 thanks to good work in the Bounties taken.

    @cabbaz 280000 1 £310.80 + £239.43 Head Prizes 8

    @Doooobs 0 2 £184.80 + £87.64 Head Prizes 6

    £1,000 Quickdraw (£1,100)

    Graham took Quickdraw to complete a very productive 4 days - 1st in Summit, 1st & 2nd in Quickdraw & 2nd in Turbo.

    heddoh, 2nd in Sheriff, had to be content with the runner-up spot again, with Avenger winner Jessieak in 5th & Darshy 6th.

    £1,000 Midnight Express B/Hunter (£1,700)

    Natnug won the Mini earlier & I listed their considerable recent wins, well here's another to add to the list, MidEx. So that's two players who had doubles on the night - Jessieak (Avenger & Sheriff) & Natnug (Mini & MidEx). Extraordinary stuff.

    @Natnug 255000 1 £242.25 + £153.85 Head Prizes 9

    To win both Avenger & Sheriff on the same night is really unusual, so it has to go to.....

    It was Amy Winehouse night on BBC Four last night, to mark the 10th anniversary of her passing, so here's the lady herself. She was completely off her head this night - not unusual - but I maybe enjoyed this Glasto performance as much as anything she ever did when sober.

    A Message To You Rudy.

    Heads up lasted about 30 mins before we got it in pre when we where evenly stacked and @PRhack93 and his A9 liked the 944 flop more than I did with AQ.
