Afternoon.
MTT traffic was reasonably brisk last night, with Summit hitting an 11 week high, & the Main well above it's 3 month run rate. Nothing spectacular, but certainly solid considering we are mid-summer.
Yesterday's sporting highlight for me was young Hollie Doyle riding a treble at Goodwood, including the prestigious Goodwood Cup, her second Group 1 win. She really is a quite exceptional talent & very often out-thinks the senior jocks. As long as she stays fit & avoids the dreaded jockey's curse - marching powder - she'll be winning races for another 20 years or more.

7 @ 7 went to Blowfish89, so they can now lay claim to be Sky Poker's best tetraodontidae. Oh yes. Incidentally, if you ever bump into a blowfish - unlikely, they are rarely seen pushing a shopping trolley round Tesco - don't mess with it, they are nasty little so & so's.@Blowfish89 282000 1 £135.71 + £55.66 Head Prizes 6

Another win for The Hedster. We know that Sharky is not always wholly accurate, but heddoh is currently ranked as the 5th most profitable Sky Poker MTT-er in 2021. Spots 1 to 4 are currently occupied by hughjarse (largely thanks to winning SPT Online), Crushy, The Bates & Roddy28.@heddoh18 162000 1 £199.80 + £101.08 Head Prizes 5

Apart from 4th in Mega earlier this month, there's no Results Thread history on last night's Main Event winner Shrenski. Turned up last night for only the third time this month, won a Late Reg Semi to the Main & walked away with 1st place & around 1,000 guineas. MBN.
Some really decent players in the Final, including ValueJL (rated 96 by Sharky), the in-form BooBoo, neenio, newdaddy & jakescol.

rorysdad has one of the most remarkable playing profiles on Sky Poker. Turns up pretty much every single night & plays exactly one MTT - the Mini. Successfully? You bet. Has won it at least three times, including twice in the last 6 weeks. And in addition, must be one of very few players on Sky Poker who has finished in every Top Six position in the Mini. Has anyone here got a better record in the Mini?
Big-hitter PRhack93 cast his net in shallower waters last night & came up 4th.

Just 24 hours after winning the Main, ITFC-Ross, who I surmised to be an Ipswich Town fan - made it a double by taking down the Mega.
In 4th was Chalky666, who won last week's MML, with 235467 5th & Crushy 6th.

Students of form will not have been surprised to see Summit fall to DeaD_CLowN, they have several four figure scores, the best of which was around £5,000 for taking down a Sunday Major late last year. Was 2nd in Summit earlier this year, so this win settled some unfinished business.
2nd was matisback, who around 8 years ago was the 2nd highest volume player on the site. Plays much less these days but clearly still handy.
UnEuropean is fairly new here, just a few hundred MTT's in the last two months but has already finished 3rd & 6th in Sunday Majors, now 3rd in Summit.
4th, 5th & 6th you know all about. Amazing how often our Rose crops up on big Final Tables.

@DeaD_CLowN
I won't ever claim to be a fan of Slipknot, but I'm certainly not a fan of young men dying way too early. Slipknot's drummer, Joey Jordison, passed away yesterday, aged just 46. Cause of death has yet to be revealed, but it was known he suffered from MS.
Slipknot were nothing without Joey's explosive drumming, & I daresay it will now be RIP Slipknot.
All very sad.

Ahh, thanks Ryan. As you can see, I'm not really up on Slipknot. Just thought it very sad that Joey died so young.

Oh dear, made a proper mess of that. Your help is appreciated.
There is no antidote and usually fatal if the wrong parts are eaten so even when dead they can be nasty so &so's
