Afternoon.
Another reasonable night, with MTT traffic at the higher end of (my) expectations. The £5,000 Gold Rush came in at £6,270, the £5,000 Summit at £7,100, & all 10 featured MTT's covered nicely. I was curious to see if there would be a drop-off after Double Points ended, & I'm sure there has been in Cash Games, but MTT's seem unaffected.
In sport, I at last got round to watching some of the Olympics. There was a 10,000 meters Open Water Swimming Marathon for Ladies. 10,000 metres. That's like, you know, miles. It lasted two hours and as they approached the finish line their arms & legs were still thrashing 13 to the dozen. Imagine swimming flat out for two hours. They are inhuman, it's beyond my imagination.
And then there was a little 13 year old girl named Sky Brown (has a brother named Ocean) who won a Skateboarding Bronze for Team GB. Lives in Oceanside California but is British. And her interview bowled me over.
"it was a super-sick final"Made me laugh so much. Incred, God bless her. She could become a poker player.

7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£931)
4 months to the day since first winning 7 @ 7, and 3 months since last winning it, mma420 completed a hat-trick of 7 @ 7 wins.
LmfaoAllin finished Monday by running 4th in MidEx, & here he is again, another fourth place. Who'd have thought?

RUTSTER19 is nicely profitable, but 2021 has not been kind to them at the tables, so winning this might suggest a long overdue change of fortune.
For a £1,000 affair, this quite the FT, with 68Trebor, Mr Bates & skyflyer filling the next three spots.

In Monday's thread I eulogised over PBKR so I'm a bit stuck today as he did even better last night, winning the Main. He did it "on stream" too, & as part of a charity drive. It's almost as if he can win to order. Many congrats Phil, you are an inspiration to us all.
The spearsy heater continues, third here for another decent payday. He's off on holiday today, much to the relief of those who have to play him.

Goodness me, what a night Mini winner 6158jeff21 had - 25 heads. Not a record, but well above the run rate. There were 447 entries, so it's "only" just over 5% of the field, even so @NOSTRI & @Duesenberg must be thinking "wtf".

BIGSTAC400 turned up for the first time in nearly 5 months last night & promptly took down the Mega.
4th in the £1k BH, skyflyer was 2nd this time.
Wolf in sheep's clothing tomgoodun was third, with loosecamel, who is enjoying a good run at the moment, 4th. Later he went on to finish 2nd in MidEx too.

£5,000 Summit Bounty Hunter (£7,100)
Quite a surprise winner here, or it was to me, as I'm more used to seeing SpaceMaff in smaller buy-in stuff. I'll be quite surprised if this was not a PB. Well done Maffy.

£1,500 Reload Rebuy B/Hunter (£1,884)
This is the opposite to the Summit winner, we are more used to seeing roddy28 in big buy-in affairs, but he's not proud & helped himself to £350 from his Reload win.
PKRPar was runner-up, with Monday's Main Event winner Nero543 in fourth.

A session-saver for Dooobs. He's having a decent week actually, picked up almost £800 for second in Sunday's £6,000 BH, & another £365 here must surely mean he's well ahead this week.
Uncle Ungo, 4th in the Mega, was runner-up.

Did not require much thought today;
@PBKR
I was watching some random sports programme last night & Heather Small of all people popped up in an interview. A hugely under-rated singer who first rose to prominence in M People. Still working, does those Live music gigs after horse racing meetings.
What a voice.

Sky Brown is great, always smiling. My youngest is a huge fam of hers and has had her own board since Christmas. If she won, my daughter would have got some unrealistic views on how easy it is to win Gold. Her form teacher was doing a topic on the Olympics last term, focussing on her friend's daughter who rides a BMX... Yeah, that one. Couldn't be more pleased for her either, think it was my favourite moment of the Olympics. My daughter hasn't asked for a BMX yet.
Am battered now, went Midnight Express, may as well watch Sky Brown qualifying, then it was only 90 minutes to the final. Am too old for this, good job my kids have been so inspired by the Olympics that they have chosen to watch YouTube all day
Cheers for the write up as ever...I ran incredible not much else to say over £450 for Cancer Research already so chuffed with that - hoping we smash the £1k target for the month!
