Who won what, Friday 6th August - Two Tone night

Morning.

An odd night really, with the two biggies - BWBH & Main both being down W-o-W, but pretty much everything else doing better, especially the late night stuff, with Turbo, Quicky & MidEx all coming in at their best numbers in around a month. Very pleasing to see at this time of year.

In sport, the first Test stop-started all day due to rain, & eventually, with the sun shining brightly, play was abandoned for the day at 6.30pm. England are now 8/1 to win it, India around 9/4, with the Draw the big jolly at around 1/2.

The football season kicked off last night with a Champo match, & today sees the annual Community Shield. It's Man City v Leicester City, so all eyes will be on Grealish. He's going to be on the bench & we may not see much of him today, but with both KdB & Foden likely to be out injured for quite some time, he'll soon be strutting his stuff.

I'll not be watching that though, the best sports you'll see all day today is the deciding test between South Africa & the British Lions. 5pm, don't miss it.

There are some really obscure sports in the Olympics, & Climbing Up A Knobbly Wall is certainly one of them. But just watch this young lady, winning Gold, amazing skills.

    7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£1,029)

What a glorious run splashies is enjoying, with a three day hat-trick. Won a £1,000 BH on Wednesday (£268), the Mini on Thursday (£302), and 7 @ 7 last night (Friday) for £214. Not content with that little lot, he then ran 2nd in Mega (£202) & 5th in Reload (£75). For his first five years here, 2008 - 2012, he made small but steady money but since then his graph has got ever steeper. Never moans & groans either, just gets on with it like a grown-up. Love him to bits.

Uncle Ungo, who finished Thursday with a MidEx victory, was 6th here.

£6,000 Big Weekend Bounty Hunter (£6,400)

    Some superb performances here.

When tonyp142 won Quicky on Monday I remarked that maybe his mini-downturn was now over & he'd kick on from here. Well he certainly did that & some, winning BWBH for his best ever score on Sky Poker, £2,180. And he was not done yet, as he also ran 2nd in the Main, adding another £890. Fair to say the best night he's ever had on Sky Poker.

PRhack93 won this a fortnight ago & so nearly did so again, eventually settling for 2nd and a nice £850 payday.

In 4th place was the human wrecking ball known as markycash. He began his Twitch journey on Thursday & won the £1k BH, & on his second stream, last night, he ran 4th in this. The only oddity is that he could only manage one head prize. When he joins a table he really does ruin the dynamic, pulling all sorts of weird moves that nobody can make sense of, least of all him I suspect. An absolute pain to share a table with.

    £8,000 Avenger Rebuy B/Hunter (£9,080)

    The Two-Tones are in town, as 1st & 2nd were TONY509 & tonyp142.

BooX2 was 4th, & Mr Avenger himself, waller02, just missed making his umpteenth Avenger Final, & did it whilst streaming too. Maybe he's one of those guys he plays better when he has an audience. It's quite remarkable how well Ryan does despite not knowing his hand rankings.

It's been eight nights since Super_Duper_Oli won a featured MTT, a long time by his standards, but he got back on his winning bike in last night's Mega.

In seventh was GREGSTER, who popped up on the Forum yesterday with a really outstanding & informative post in the "Best Broadband" thread.

This was to prove the first leg of a very fine double for RCord.

    £1,500 Reload Rebuy B/Hunter (£1,608)

TheBigLad is better known for DYM exploits, & they won the £2.20 Streak Week Leaderboard last year. Has FT'd Reload on numerous occasions & eventually got the top spot last night.

Just missing the FT was NOSTRI in 7th, but he did at least take three head prizes, which is very much at the top of his range.

    £1,500 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£1,980)

Congrats to RCord, who completed the difficult double of Sheriff & Turbo on the same night.

Both tend to attract accomplished players, & this was no exception, with Danny, Divs, Doobs & Crushy all on the FT.

Incidentally, Turbo had it's biggest prize pool for 5 weeks.

    £1,000 Midnight Express B/Hunter (£1,760)

LmfaoAllin finished the session with a right rattle, final tabling 4 MTT's on the bounce - 6th in a £750 BH, 5th in a £300 BH, 3rd in a £500 BH & then finishing in style with a MidEx victory. He might just be a better at poker than darts.

biggirl was runner-up with Divs in 6th.
