Who won what, Saturday 28th August - PBKR raises over £2,500 in his Charity Stream

Morning,

Sunday again, where do the week's go?

AS is so often the case on a Sunday, I'm going to run though the thread with a degree of brevity today, so many things to do.

Saturday night MTT traffic was close to the run rate, neither good nor bad really, just meh.

Saturday's football was highlighted by a splendidly contested game between Liverpool & Chelsea. First half was wonderful, but the game was marred by a sending-off which was technically correct but a little harsh, & which rather spoiled the second half. The moral high ground probably goes to Chelsea who clung on with their 10 men, & really, a rampant Liverpool could & should have punished them.

In the BWM Golf, the two leaders - Cantlay & Bryson are 21 under after three rounds & there are a dozen or more players at minus 10 or better. I can't really take that sort of target golf seriously, golf would be better served where the winner comes in at close to par. On Friday - Day 2 - Bryson only hit 6 fairways & yet shot 12 (TWELVE) under. Ridiculous. Give us a Scottish links course with the wind howling & the whole field struggles to beat par & then we'll see who the best golfer is.

In F1 yesterday we saw another humdinger of a crash at Eau Rouge/Raidillon as Lando Norris got it all wrong in the wet & was lucky to escape unscathed. Not so his McLaren, which was totally wrecked. (See video below). The race starts at 2pm (UK) today & should make great TV, let's hope everyone finishes the race safely, that's some dangerous circuit, especially in the wet.

Also today it is the British round of Moto GP, which is at Silverstone. All 3 races will be on BT Sport, & the main Moto GP race (1pm UK) will be on ITV.

Finally, for those who enjoy lower league football, don't forget it's the Old Firm derby today, Rangers v Celtic, which kicks off at noon.

    7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£791)

    In taking the 7 @ 7 Supernan enjoyed their best result since 2nd in the £6,000 BH to Richrash93 back in February.

    This was the second straight night BeachBody has been third in 7 @ 7. They were also 3rd in Friday's BWBH, so a touch of 3rd-itis at the moment, though that BWBH finish was worth some £750 so not a disaster. Seems to be making final tables galore of late.

    lukeylund was 5th & then enjoyed a deep run in the Main, making the last three tables.

    £1,000 Bounty Hunter (£1,000)

    There was a great heads up here as MrTucker & ForeSight slogged it out. MrTucker, who only returned from a 3 month break last week, eventually prevailed. Foresight then finished a most creditable 9th in the Main.

    @MrTucker 132000 1 £207.20 + £158.15 Head Prizes 9

    £6,000 Sharpshooter (£7,100)

    balamar, a recent Quickdraw winner, successfully stepped up in class big time to take Sharpy Main & collect over £1,300.

    Spare a thought for runner-up MAGPIETYKE. In the last week or so he's finished 2nd, 3rd & 4th in Main Events, which includes 2nd & 3rd in the last two Sharpshooters. In the same time he's also run 2nd in Sheriff, 3rd in Turbo & 3rd in MidEx. Gotta be frustrating. Could be worse though - imagine if he were a Newcastle United fan...

    ITFC-ROSS has enjoyed the last two Mains too, 7th in Friday's Avenger & 5th in last night's Sharpshooter.

    @balamar 2370000 1 £959.85 + £380.28 Head Prizes 13

    £2,000 Mini Sharpshooter (£2,310)

    LitlGenral took the Mini, & if the name rings a bell it is probably because he won the full £5,000 Sky Poker Jackpot back in 2019. He did it on a Sunday so had to win the Major & Mini Major & it feels unlikely that double has ever been achieved before or since, unless anyone can tell me otherwise.

    £1,000 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,120)

    Mega fell to brucey93. If we delve into the archives, we see that they won Avenger & Sharpshooter Main back in 2017 & 2018. Plays a lot less these days - this was only their fifth MTT this year.

    An unusually tough renewal this, with Palace, roddy, Crushy & luckme all involved.

    £1,500 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£1,850)

    clockerbob has twice won the Turbo this year & took their maiden Sheriff last night. Interesting alias. There used to be a player on the UK Live Poker circuit called Mick Cook & he went by the nick of "Mick the Clock". I'll leave @NChanning to tell you all about Micky, who was something of a character, & a little shy.

    A successful but frustrating night for roddy28, making FIVE finals but failing to convert any of them.

    heddoh was 3rd, rankers 4th & RCord 5th.

    @clockerbob 185000 1 £370 + £208.01 Head Prizes 5

    @roddy28 0 2 £231.25 + £80.29 Head Prizes 2

    £1,500 Reload Rebuy B/Hunter (£1,941)

    Reload regular sam1980 took this. Has won it several times, & has also won a Mini UKOPS. The winner should not be confused with Sam1986 who used to be one of the biggest players on the site but we've only seen him infrequently since 2015, & only once since 2018. Wonder what he is doing these days? Good player & a good mate back in the day. His brother was tidy too.

    hhammerhea (4th) was making the Reload Final for the 4th time in the last week, finishing 2nd, 4th, 6th & 6th. He began the month with 2nd in Mini Major, & won a Mini last month so his Sharky graph is looking very good indeed.

    £1,500 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£1,800)

    skyflyer continues to clock up results, & last night included 1st in Turbo, 3rd in Quicky & 6th in MidEx.

    TEXANT, who took MidEx some 22 hours earlier & has made a bunch of FT's this week was 2nd.

    newdaddy is not putting in much volume at present, but still managed 6th in Friday's BWBH & 4th here, pretty good considering he played just 5 MTT's on Friday & Saturday.

    @skyflyer 300000 1 £333 + £229.93 Head Prizes 7

    @TEXANT 0 2 £198 + £67.50 Head Prizes 5

    £1,000 Quickdraw (£1,460)

    It's been a long week for Crushy, but a nice result here will help. He's also in pole position to win another £1,000 in the Sky Poker Prem, though unfortunately, there was no updated leaderboard published yesterday.

    Dog Bloke has had a frustrating week here, 4th in the Sunday Major, 2nd in Avenger Main & 2nd here. Think he's been doing OK over at Grosvenor though.

    3rd was skyflyer, 4th BooBoo, 5th RCord, with ramshead sheepishly creeping into 6th.

    @loololollo 178000 1 £365 + £213.76 Head Prizes 6

    @rspca12 0 2 £219 + £106.53 Head Prizes 5

    @skyflyer 0 3 £146 + £37.50 Head Prizes 3

    @BooBooTheB 0 4 £99.85 Head Prizes 10

    @RCord 0 5 £15 Head Prizes 1

    @ramshead10 0 6 £126.10 Head Prizes 8

    £1,000 Midnight Express B/Hunter (£1,660)

    robert281 took MidEx for at least the fifth time this year & then, as is his habit, stayed on site most of the early hours, mainly playing Timed stuff.

    @robert281 249000 1 £236.55 + £148.11 Head Prizes 9

    Well that went well?
    Am i the only one on the planet who thinks this is the most boring "sport" ever?
    Also, @Tikay10 , shame on you....not one mention of the Paralympics.😈

    @Glenelg

    I don't believe I mentioned the regular Olympics either - I am completely averse to watching any form of Olympic sport. Each to their own.

    Great respect to the Paralympians, naturally.
