Who won what, Tuesday 31st August - roddy28 takes the satty route to the Summit

Tikay10Tikay10 Member, Administrator, Moderator Posts: 171,844

Afternoon.

A middling night for MTT traffic, the standouts being Gold Rush Main & Summit both being at a 4 week high. Those apart, it was all sort of middling.

Not much to report in sport, even the football transfer window, which closed at midnight, was subdued. I did see the story of Real Madrid bidding £180 million for Mbappe, & PSG not even replying. Weird thing is Mbappe, who had refused to sign a new contract at PSG & has stated he intends to sign for Real Madrid, is out of contract next summer, so can sign for anyone he fancies - for free. Go figure.

£700 7 @ 7 £945

£1,000 BH £1,020

£5,000 Gold Rush Main £6,390

£1,500 Mini £2,015

£1,000 Mega £1,200

£5,000 Summit £6,200

£1,500 Reload £1,776

£1,500 Turbo £1,500

£1,000 Quickdraw £1,260

£1,000 MidEx £1,060

    7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£945)

trundle will be sorry to see August end, on Saturday they won Reload, then followed up last night by winning the last 7 @ 7 of the month.

In third was MP33, another who had a reasonable month, including 3rd in a MidEx & 6th in a Main.

Neither of them did as well in August as MAGPIETYKE though. I listed his amazing run in the last week or so yesterday, & here he is again, in 4th. Doubt any player on the site has been in better form the last 10 days. In his last 500 games his average stake has been £6.60 & his average profit per game £5. OK, sample size, but that's some run. Well done Mr Tyke.

There was a lengthy HU battle here before roddy28 eventually prevailed over PRhack93, with Arrogant on the bottom step of the podium. For roddy28 this was just an aperitif, the main course was to follow, & PRhack was also far from done.

    £5,000 Gold Rush (£6,390)

lilzane played just the one MTT last night, Gold Rush Main - & won it. That must feel wonderful.

extraman played half a dozen all-In Sats before eventually winning the last one, & ended up 2nd for almost £700. If you are reading this Norman, I do hope you & yours are well.

gunners was third, not something you'll see on the sports pages any time soon.

    £1k BH runner-up PRhack was 4th, with wineli 5th.

I looked in on this one with 2 tables left & Collabo had a decent chip lead, but things evidently went wrong in the Final. He might just be the friendliest & most talkative player on the site, always chatting away to everyone.

    @lilzane 2130000 1 £870.64 + £205.96 Head Prizes 5

    £1,000 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,200)

Jscorgie, who took the Sunday Major 48 hours earlier, was soon back in winning form.

The--Don, who has won this 3 times this year, was third. Let's not forget he won Marksman Main three weeks ago, though most of us are still trying to work out how. When luck & variance are in our favour, I suppose anything is possible.

    £5,000 Summit Bounty Hunter (£6,200)

Earlier in the evening roddy28 took the £1k BH, and he stepped up a gear here to take Summit after satting in on the cheap. In doing so he completed a very rare, maybe even unique, double, in that he also has a BWBH win on his CV. How many others have completed the BWBH/Summit double? A few I suppose, but a handful at most.

Runner-up whitters 95 has made both BWBH & Summit finals recently, but not won them. He's also made two Sunday Major Finals in recent weeks, finishing 2nd & 4th.

3rd was Jessieak with Solly in 4th. Solly was missing for two weeks in August but still had a decent month, headlined by 2nd in the Sunday Major won by seikus.

I was quite surprised to see this was the best result Sharki0 has had in the last three months, although to be fair, he's been missing a fair amount of that time & only playing intermittently.

Tough old final too, hard to see who the value is here.

Nothing of note to report today, so instead, enjoy this little poker clip. Best commentary ever, too.

The Qataries have that much money that i think 180 million means nothing to them and would rather him in Paris than playing for a competitor in the CL
