Morning.
Numbers were a little down w-o-w last night, but not significantly, & all 10 events covered.
In the Test match it was a topsy turvy day, and right now honours are probably about even, especially with Root back in the pavilion cheaply. The bookies have England at 1/2, which looks ridiculous to me, I'd have thought it was just about a flip, so I'd throw my fiver on India at 2/1 against.
In football, England easily disposed of Hungary, after which we were treated to an interview with Harry Kane, who really is almost a parody of himself. "Yeah, the lads played well. We knew it would be tight, but there are no easy games in this Group, and next we've got Andorra on Sunday". (England will be about 1/100 to beat Andorra).
Have to say, the performance by Jack Grealish was a creative masterpiece, as was his hair. He looks a natural in an England shirt though.

Mody really seems to mix it up. He began last night by playing a £0.25 DYM, then won the Hitman Main for almost £1,100. Got a decent CV too, with multiple wins in MidEx and Quickdraw.
TheSwan made a few of his cygneture moves on his way to 4th place.
A pleasant surprise to see Cammykaze in 5th, this was a big result for him. He's more often seen in the Turbo DYM's, of which he played close to 100 yesterday & this morning. He finished yesterday's session at around 0230, & was back on site at around 8am.

Following the Main Event win on Wednesday by 348423, we saw another mystery Number last night as 8288 took Mega. I did a spot of googling, & apparently 8288 is a form used in the USA for the tax withheld on the acquisition of a U.S. real property interest from a foreign person. Well there you go.
We welcome back hoban01 (3rd), who was quite high volume earlier this year but has been conspicuously absent of late.
@The--Don was 3rd & 5th in this the previous two nights, but could only manage 45th last night. That's known as reversion to mean.

GUKPT
GUKPT is taking place in the Ricoh Arena Coventry, the only cardroom I know which us underneath a football pitch.
It was the "live" Day 1 yesterday, in an affair which will likely end up with ~£150,000 up top.
A few of our crew were there & a couple bagged up tidy stacks including @M10Dembele (176,600) & @bromley04 (77,400).
It's streamed so you can watch it during the next few days, & I expect to see quite a few of our crew there.

I watched an old 10CC documentary last night. They were fabulously successful & talented for a good few years before, as is often the case, they all fell out & went their different ways. They've all done well for themselves subsequently though. Love a happy ending, me.
