Afternoon.
A fairly sedate night for traffic, but that would have been expected with the Poland - England live on tv at peak hours. The exception was Sheriff, which performed well again, exactly the same number as Monday.
The sport headlines are dominated by young Emma Raducanu who is now in the US Open Tennis semi-finals - the first qualifier ever tom do so. And she's yet to drop a set. Can she go all the way. Well she's the youngest & least experienced of the four remaining. Ability wise, it's hard to know really. Whatever happens, she's been sensational, & seems such a pleasant individual, well grounded, humble & always smiling. Not sure I've ever seen an elite athlete who smiles so readily.
In football, England drew their World Cup Qualifier. The highlight was watching Jordan Pickford doing his penguin impression, arms flapping like billy-o, & generally shouting at everyone every time the ball came near his goal area. Not exactly the man I'd want beside me in a crisis.

7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£784)
A very pleasing session for h26h26, 2nd in a mid afternoon £300 BH for ~£50, then winning 7 @ 7 for another £150. £200 in the day at those stakes is top drawer.
Enut was 3rd, so the Estate Staff will get a slice of cake today, & Villa superfan 68Trebor was 5th.

This looked like a hard-fought Final, with grinddd getting the nod. He has a fabulous 2021 CV, in the last three or four months alone he has won Sheriff 3 times, Turbo 3 times, Quickdraw, Mega, MidEx, Predator Main, & twice been runner up in the Sunday Major. Will be a threat to all when UKOPS next comes around.
As £20 MTT's go, you'll not see many tougher FT's, with RCord, PRhack, biggyfattyfishy, Monty & THETANK all featuring.

It might be my imagination, & I have no real data to support it, but it feels to me that destinycod does not win our Main Events as often as he should. He did last night though, & it was almost a year to the day since he win both BWBH & Avenger Main on the same night, a feat I very much doubt anyone else has ever managed. He does well away from Sky Poker too, being a bit of a shark on Grosvenor.
PRhack93, 3rd in the £1k BH, went one better here.
It was yet another Final without a win for Mr Channing, his 63rd on the bounce. Will he ever win another featured MTT, one wonders?
Langua looked like winning this at one stage but fell away to fourth, which was to prove extremely expensive.
In 6th was DivsDreams, who was both the most profitable & most prolific MTT-er on the site back in 2014, though I sense he plays rather less these days.

Alesc broke their duck in fine style, taking a competitive Mini, in the late stages of which just a few BB's covered the top six.
With two tables left, @LmfaoAllin was chippie, but he faded to finish 8th.
Langua was 3rd, & as he was 4th in the Main, picks up £250 in FTJ money. When both Main & Mini were down to 1 or 2 tables he sat 1st in one, 2nd in the other & it looked like the whole £5,000 might be won, but it was not to be. Perhaps we should thank @destinycod for saving Sky Poker a £5,000 payout.
In 6th was gibbzy, who was having a rough ride until he ran 3rd in a Main last week, seems like he is back on the up & up now.

Just 24 hours after collecting a chunky £1,500 FTJ bonus, skyflyer was back in the winner's enclosure, with BooBoo 2nd.
RogueCell is enjoying a decent run of form, 4th in Tuesday's Mini (which skyflyer won) & 3rd here, with skyflyer the winner again.

We had a Keysasoze (1st) & a Keyser (3rd) here.

£1,500 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£1,500)
A second FT of the night for bigfatfish, though he won this one. I was a little surprised to see that Sharky says he has played 112,000 games on Sky Poker, which for the purposes of perspective, is twice as many as MattBates. However, 93% of the games by bigfatfish are DYM's. Profit in DYM's needs to be measured differently, because much of it comes from Rewards money, but all of his "game" profit seems to come from MTT's.

In other news...
Special congratulations today to fan-favourite @PBKR who popped the question to Harriett which she readily accepted. It's such a pleasing aspect of modern society that men no longer need to be embarrassed about falling for a much younger woman.
I hope a few of you join me in congratulating Phil, & sparing a thought for Harriett.
A chunk of FTJ means it has to go the way of....
@Langua
Here's a piece of music we all associate with Pulp Fiction......
Summary of above.....
@destinycod confirmed employee of Sky Poker after saving them £4750 in FTJ rigged promotion. Last winner of this was Scotty77....an employee of Sky Poker. I rest my case.
@bigfatfish is twice as big as the bates. No shock there really as that is the minimum anyone is, compared to the player with a short stature .
A girl out of his League only agrees to get engaged after @PBKR wins some decent cash.
Pickford is not in the same class as Banks, Shilton or even Clemence.
Pickford forever shouting at Defenders reminds me of an interview with the late Les Sealey. He was asked why he was always shouting at his own Defenders. He replied:-
As a goalie, I only have 2 weaknesses. I can't catch crosses, and I can't stop shots. Consequently, I shout at my Defenders...
