I think I have just seen the worst playing surface I've ever seen, Derby v Stoke at the Baseball ground 1975, watching that you realize who pampered modern footballers have it, bring back the good old days.

I often watch Big Match Revisited if not only to see, in Brian Moore's words "The Second Division Clash Between Carlise & Colchester". But also the pitches that proper footballers played on back in the day. In my opinion the 'flair' players of yesteryear would run rings around today's so called superstars.

I like watching it to see how many players I can remember, today was a struggle with Charlton v Southend, I only knew one player.
