Morning.
Welcome to what I saw described with remarkable accuracy yesterday as "tikay's daily dribble". Closer to the truth than I like to admit.
MTT traffic last night was probably where it was forecast to be, nothing special, but OK.
The big sporting story was - well, you know what it was. The media are full of it & I don't think I can add much to what has been said. At the end, I have to admit, it was all a bit emotional, & I certainly got something in my eye. Not seen any reports yet, but I'll be quite surprised if Channel 4 did not have record viewing figures last night.
In football, Ronaldo dominated the headlines with a brace of goals for Man U. I can't predict how well he will do, but I do know that United have pulled off a quite remarkable PR coup here. Elsewhere in football, Spurs lost & Arsenal won, which is all you need to know. Today, Liverpool travel to Leeds United, for the match of the weekend.
Busy day in front of the TV beckons - Moto GP from Aragon, F1 from Monza, Leeds v Liverpool, the golf from Wentworth, the first full Sunday of the NFL season & Indycar from Portland. How lucky are we?

heddoh took 7 @ 7 & was 5th in the Main. He probably calls that a bad night.ItsOver4U pulled off the neat trick of finishing 3rd in 7 @ 7 for the 2nd straight night.
In 5th was FORDAKIDZ, who I last saw at SPT Notts in 2018 if I'm not mistaken. (PS - xx to Mich).

MattBates, strongly rumoured to be a Sky Poker staff member, won his 2nd featured MTT of the month, the Mini on 2nd September, & now the £1k BH.
For the 2nd time in the last few days, winner5603 came up a spot short, 2nd here, 2nd in a £500 BH on Tuesday.

Rstinson97 ended a lean August with a double - £1k BH & Reload on the same night - & stepped up in class last night to take Sharpy Main.
dameflop, representing the Edinburgh massive, was 3rd. She has plenty of decent scores on her CV, including an SPT Final at Newcastle back in the day.

shire40 had made the Mega final 7 times since June and at last got the win last night.
Swog looked like he might win it, but could not quite close the deal.
Performance of the night was The--Don, who nitted, laddered & luckboxed his way to 4th. He'd be in his element if the starting stack was 1,000,000, blinds began at 25-50 & there was a 2 hour clock, & he could sit there folding all day.

Exactly a week ago wilkly28 was 4th in Sheriff & until turning up & winning it last night we'd not seen them since.
Was an unusual Sheriff Final too, with some interesting characters in the frame, including SwannLol, recent Major winner Jscorgie, Whizzy, & BWBH winner UnEuropean.
In 6th was kidgrimsby who, but for COVID travel restrictions, would be in the USA now heading his way down to Vegas in time for the WSOP, instead of which he's stuck in Grimsby. Close your eyes & it's hard to tell the difference between Vegas & Grimsby.

Yes Sir, I Can Boogie.
It varies really, just depending on my mood, & how much time I have available.
As it's Sunday, I was rushing, so decided to leave it today.
There seems to have been a lot of late conversions to the church of Raducanu, what say you Tony "I'm watching the golf" Kendall?
FWIW I had Pleno on my left half way through the NLO8, but was ok as I had him covered. He then left, which I was quite happy about ... until he rejoined back on my left with double my stack half an hour later. You don't need that when trying to concentrate on the tennis. Inevitably he then outflipped me in one that I was probably too short to fold.
