Who won what, Sunday 12th September - tonyp142 has a dream session

Morning.

Numbers were very similar to last Sunday, in fact Mini Major was identical. Premier League & Champions League football both feature this week, so it will be interesting to see how that affects traffic.

There was some great sport yesterday, but it was all a bit of an anti-climax after Emma's efforts on Saturday evening. Ricciardo took the Italian GP with a surprising McLaren 1-2, Moto GP at Aragon went to Bagnaia, and in NFL the Lions & the 49ers served up a 74 point thriller. Most pleasing of all was Liverpool back to their imperious best & destroying Leeds United, though the game was marred by a nasty injury to Liverpool's Elliott.

£700 7 @ 7 £1,169

£6,000 BH £6,960

£12,000 Sunday Major £13,200

£1,500 Mini Major £1,790

£1,000 Mega £1,500

£1,500 Sheriff £1,600

£1,500 Reload £1,626

£1,500 Turbo £1,710

£1,000 Quickdraw £1,480

£1,000 MidEx £1,260

    Swog is becoming the Sunday Man, after winning the £6,000 BH a week earlier he followed up with 7 @ 7 last night. Since mid-June he's several thousand ahead, & with his confidence soaring there are plenty more wins in him.

    £6,000 Bounty Hunter (£6,960)

    Jscorgie is becoming another Sunday specialist, taking the Major two weeks ago & now the £6,000 BH, & he followed that an hour or two later with a Sheriff victory.

    Runner-up tonyp142 had a spectacular Sunday too, as we shall see.

    £12,000 Sunday Major (£13,200)

    tonyp142 is fast becoming the player to fear, he took BWBH early last month & added Sunday Major last night, having already run 2nd in the £6,000 BH. In fact he was very unlucky not to take a lump of Final Table Jackpot last night as he FT bubbled the Mini. He began last night's Sunday Major final as the shortie but when you are playing with confidence anything can happen, & one by one he picked off the opposition.

    There was a huge step up in class for yoddler 22, who won Friday's Reload then stepped up massively to take third in the Major.

    £1,500 Mini Major (£1,790)

    Playing an MTT for the first time this month, cindercone took the Mini.

    The interesting one here was Rstinson97, who had not shown much until a few weeks ago when taking a double on the night of £1k BH & Reload. Then on Saturday, they added Sharpshooter Main for a PB, & followed up here with the runner-up spot in Mini Major. Very much one to keep an eye on.

    Arrogant was 3rd, with Major winner tonyp142 narrowly missing the FTJ in finishing 7th.

    Playing via a Free Entry after winning one of the Forum Naps comps, wynne1938 turned his freebie into £43 in 8th.

    Perhaps most remarkable of all, The--Don folded his way to 26th without playing a single hand.

    £1,000 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,500)

    Very pleasing to see unbpower take Mega. He's in his 15th year with Sky Poker & has had a few nice scores along the way, including 2nd in a Sunday Major in 2018 for over £2,700.

    7 @ 7 winner Swog was third.

    £1,500 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£1,600)

    This was Leg 2 of the terrific Jscorgie double.

    A typically tough Sheriff FT, which included the likes of Crushy, grinddd & seikus, all of whom have excellent credentials.

    @Jscorgie 160000 1 £400 + £273.82 Head Prizes 5

    £1,500 Reload Rebuy B/Hunter (£1,626)

    micropro seems a pretty apt alias for a Reload winner.

    Hawkeye19 was vying for the double, he won this the previous night but could only manage 4th last night. Even so, fine effort considering it averages over 200 runners.

    @micropro 1483000 1 £218.37 + £54.85 Head Prizes 4

    @kevg14 0 2 £130.32 + £59.14 Head Prizes 11

    £1,500 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£1,710)

    Our Turbo winner, 8288, also won a Mega earlier this month. These numerical aliases drive me nuts, I can't help but try to guess what the number represents.

    DivsDreams had a testing session, 3rd here his only significant score but he did make 3 non-featured FT's.

    SwannLol, roddy & JPDERRY rounded out the Final.

    @8288 285000 1 £316.35 + £253.85 Head Prizes 10

    @Cassius123 0 2 £188.10 + £28.13 Head Prizes 2

    @DivsDreams 0 3 £128.25 + £56.25 Head Prizes 4

    @roddy28 0 5 £68.40 + £65.08 Head Prizes 4

    @JPDERRY 0 6 £59.85 + £11.25 Head Prizes 1

    £1,000 Quickdraw (£1,480)

    beefmyster has not played much this month but he seems to be bang in form, taking Saturday's Turbo & last night's Quickdraw.

    @PlzFold 0 2 £185 + £109.87 Head Prizes 4

    In other news...

    When I was working with Des Duffy & Tighty in APAT, one of the things we tried to do was give recreational players a voice with the major operators. It was unbelievably difficult & after many years of endless late night meetings we had to admit failure, though we did manage to get some positive changes through, mainly better structures for recreational players.

    Now Rob Yong plans to try something similar, & is investing $1.2 million of his own money to try & make it work. Tough gig, but if anyone can do it, Rob can. Good luck Rob, & thank you.
