Afternoon.

All behind today, so probably a degree of brevity will be necessary.

The Main hit it's recent running average, bit of a result really considering there was a terrific programme of football on TV including both Liverpool & Man City in the CL. A nice surprise to see the £1,000 Quickdraw make £1,840, very high in it's range & one of it's highest numbers in a good while. Pardon my optimism, but there's always a shaft of light if you are a glass half-full sort.

In sport we were treated to a belter of a game in the Liverpool - A C Milan match, I'd watch a lot more football if it were all like that. Had to wonder how Nkunku of R B Leipzig must have felt. It must be almost unique in modern times for a player to score a hat-trick away to Manchester City. I'm just guessing, but I'll be surprised if that's been done in the Pep era. And it must certainly be an even greater rarity to score a hat-trick away to Man City - & still lose 6-3. It has been widely rumoured he was a transfer target for the Arsenal, but whether he's good enough for North London's finest is another matter.

Meanwhile, Stoke City & Barnsley drew 1-1 in a real thrill-an-hour affair. There were some excellent handbags on display though, when a touchline melee ended up with 4 (FOUR) red cards.

    7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£812)

    Interesting result here as MrsParisxx wins the 7 @ 7, something I'd love to have Seine. Only played 5 times in the last 3 weeks and in each instance it was the 7 @ 7. Ran 2nd in it at the start of last month too.

    After returning in style on Tuesday to win Summit, it looked like mcg899 was in for another great night, but it was not to be & 2nd here was their only score of the night.

    splashies made two FT's, 3rd here & 4th in the £1k BH.

    £1,000 Bounty Hunter (£1,000)

    After taking BWBH a fortnight ago, Swog returned to winning form here. He seems to be on the upgrade, and if he were a racehorse I'm sure Timeform would give him a P.

    3rd was kalin, with PRhack93, who seems to be making finals for fun lately, in 5th.

    £5,000 Predator Bounty Hunter (£5,400)

    A stunning evening for dameflop, who many of you may have met at various SPT's. First she won the Sunday Major Freeroll to book her seat for Sunday, then switched formats & "won" a Turbo DYM, before finally delivering the coup de grace & taking down the Main. I hope this does not come across as either sexist or ageist, but she's not exactly a young lady any more, I'd put her at least 35, maybe even 40. I'm made up for her.

    The excellent & highly-rated skyflyer could only manage 2nd, and if the rumours are true, is another young lady. (I could look very silly if I've got that wrong).

    The 33 x £3 Challenge by waller02 continues to drive results for him & he's nicely ahead so far. I'm still convinced he'll win a £33 Main soon to add some more respectability to his profit figures. His problem is that he does best in Avenger, which does not count, as it's a £20 affair.

    £1,500 Mini Predator (£1,535)

    BOOM, markycash-bang-wallop bullied, blustered, bungled & bluffed his way to a Mini win. How he does it nobody knows. Tough to assign ranges to him though as he probably thinks a range is something old people cook on. Close eyes - click buttons - hope.

    £1,000 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,200)

    Embarrassingly, I have zero data on the winner, Gomomo, except top say that's some weird alias.

    Natnug, bigfatfish & Kahuna all made the FT, and all three seem in fine form at present.

    oynutter, the original floppa-woppa, was 5th in MidEx on Tuesday night, & popped up again here, also in 5th. Good to see my favourite fruit-loop doing well.

    £1,500 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£1,650)

    For the second time in 3 weeks Dog Bloke won Sheriff, and picked up a useful £209 in Head Prizes in doing so.

    markycash-bang-wallop was 3rd, with heddoh 4th & f3nix35 5th.

    Tough table that.

    £1,500 Reload Rebuy B/Hunter (£1,680)

    hotshotmak was on target & took Reload, adding it to a CV which includes Gold Rush Mini, albeit that was 2 years ago.

    PKRPar has been on a mini-downswing for the last month or so since winning MidEx, maybe this will mark the turning point for the marginally likeable Scot.

    £1,500 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£1,500)

    Shrimpy28 won Turbo for the second time this month. It's very odd that I like him so much when I can't really put my finger on "why". I think it's something to do with "God loves a trier". He must have done well to take this though as the 2nd, 3rd & 4th - Wacko, heddoh & Natnug - are all extremely useful. However, the presence of Mr Channing in 6th perhaps suggests the form is not up to much. He's been finishing 5th/6th/7th for weeks now, and blinkers have not helped, so maybe it's time to have him gelded.

    @Shrimpy28 240000 1 £288.60 + £211.07 Head Prizes 9

    @Wacko90 0 2 £171.60 + £88.99 Head Prizes 5

    £1,000 Quickdraw (£1,840)

    Natnug was 3rd in Mega & 4th in Turbo, but perseverance is all & he got his deserved win here.

    heddoh completed a 4-3-2 sequence - 4th in Sheriff, 3rd in Turbo & now 2nd in Quickdraw.

    bigfatfish had a very long session, but somehow made EIGHT Final Tables, then finished with a Turbo DYM 5-streak.

    @Natnug 222000 1 £322 + £298.42 Head Prizes 8

    @heddoh18 0 2 £202.40 + £84.38 Head Prizes 3

    £1,000 Midnight Express B/Hunter (£1,020)

    Mr Bates made the MidEx final for the 3rd straight night, and took the win this time. About time too.

    Swog, who won the £1k BH earlier, was runner-up, with Main Event runner-up skyflyer in 4th.

    @MattBates 153000 1 £188.70 + £161.92 Head Prizes 10

    @Swog 0 2 £112.20 + £64.83 Head Prizes 6

    In other news...

    So often in poker it's all about timing. In the WCOOP $5,200 NLHE Main Event - that's $5,200 to ENTER, not the guarantee - it was A-J against 10-10, an absolutely bog standard flip. The ace flopped - but so did the 10.

    That left A-J man with about 1 BB, & that soon disappeared.

    So that 10 was worth around $1,500,000.

    Nice.

    Today I present you with by far the worst piece of music this thread has even seen, but I think we deserve to pay credit to our Main Event winner @dameflop. Proper music resumes tomorrow.
