Who won what, Friday 24th September - Tonyzya takes 13 bounties in BWBH

Morning.

MTT traffic levels were more or less in line with Fridays during the last few months.

In the Ryder Cup Europe got a pummelling, & are now 10/1 to win it, with USA at 1/8 & the draw 22/1. Have to say, Whistling Straits is a stunning course visually, hard against Lake Michigan. It's some lake too, has waves & everything, & I believe that it has a bigger "footprint" than the island of Ireland. That's a big lake. The commentators were every bit as sycophantic & gushing as I feared, and I think my dislike is perhaps not so much the format as the Media over-hyping it.

Anyway, we did get to see two absolutely spectacular shots, one by Bryson, the other by Speith. Bryson's drive off the tee was 417 yards. Spieth's shot was almost the opposite, just a few yards - but he had to hit it off a cliff-face 80 feet into the air to get those few yards. And Spieith almost ended up in Lake Michigan - seriously.

I've watched & re-watched both those shots a dozen or more times & I can still barely believe what I'm seeing. This Ryder Cup will be remembered, above all else, for those two shots.

    7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£938)

    Kahuna956 is in splendid form. Won 7 @ 7 on Wednesday, took the night off on Thursday, & won it again last night. Not only that, he warmed up last night by winning the £1,000 BH that kicked off 30 minutes before 7 @ 7.

    OldTimer99 is not doing so bad either - 3rd in 7 @ 7 on Thursday, 2nd last night, & later in the evening he ran 4th in Reload.

    £6,000 Big Weekend Bounty Hunter (£6,900)

    There were numerous chip leaders during this & Tonyzya only appeared on the scene towards the end, but 13 heads tells the story. Has won numerous Featured MTT's, including the old £8,000 BH that used to run every Sunday & is now a £6,000 affair.

    Plenty of FT talent here, including ChipSiSbK, JonT, Palace, f3nix & nishg.

    £8,000 Avenger Rebuy B/Hunter (£8,760)

    No surprise to see whitters win this, & he's at least £8,000 ahead in MTT's since the Summer if Sharky is to be believed.

    2nd was MikeyW94, cabbaz was 5th with beefmyster in 6th.

    Yet another excellent Avenger effort by @waller02, falling just a few spots shy of the FT. He collected ~£180, but sadly it was a £20 event so does not count towards his 33 x £33 challenge.

    @whitters95 1030000 1 £1182.60 + £709.95 Head Prizes 19

    £4,000 Mini Avenger Rebuy B/Hunter (£4,850)

    Nero543 took the Mini, & he's no stranger to regular readers. Has won Turbo several times &, perhaps most notably, Marksman Main.

    I guess the alias is a doff of the cap to Emperor Nero, who was quite a character.

    "Nero was popular with the lower-class Roman citizens during his time and his reign is commonly associated with unrestricted tyranny, extravagance, religious persecution and debauchery"

    Tyranny & debauchery, huh? So Boris was not the first by a long chalk.

    Natnug & Mr Bates were 3rd & 4th, but without the aid of tyranny or debauchery.

    @Nero543 2328000 1 £606.25 + £175.28 Head Prizes 11

    @aabenjaa28 0 2 £339.50 + £45.69 Head Prizes 8

    £1,000 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,100)

    chabba, 3rd in Sheriff 6 nights earlier, took Mega, with Super_Oli un 2nd.

    MAXALLY had a good but frustrating night - 4th here & 4th again in Sheriff. Still, it was not all bad, he satted into both events for a combined cost of about £4.20, so made about £180 on the deal. Nice one Alan & more of the same please.

    £1,500 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£1,550)

    Cassius123 is the new Sheriff. My "feet of clay" pun the last time he cashed sunk without trace, so I'd best not try that again. He's doing very well though, 3 wins (Turbo twice & now Sheriff) in his last 8 bouts.

    Plenty of quality on the FT, as so often the case with Sheriff.

    £1,500 Reload Rebuy B/Hunter (£1,758)

    Solid session for mackem247, 8th in a little BH earlier then going on to take Reload.

    OldTimer99, 2nd in the 7 @ 7, was 4th with hugegoose in 6th.

    £1,500 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£1,560)

    Just 80 mTT's on his CV but clarke996 is certainly making waves, has won Sheriff twice in the last two weeks & now adds Turbo.

    A frustrating week for StayOrGo, plenty of FT's but can't quite close the deal, 2nd here, with Natnug 3rd after finishing in the same spot in the Mini, & Dooobs 5th.

    @clarke996 260000 1 £288.60 + £236.48 Head Prizes 10

    £1,000 Midnight Express B/Hunter (£1,360)

    A really tough MidEx renewal, with Super_Oli claiming the win.

    Delighted to see SR23 mixing it in the MTT's again, great bloke & one of the most missed Forum regulars with his cranky diaries. Hope you are well Steve.

    Another FT for Dooobs, with THETANK 4th & the Swogster 6th.

    In other news...

    It was Day 1B of Leeds GUKPT yesterday, & there were a few names you might recognize here, including Adam Bromley & Stu Rutter. Also I suspect "Nicholas Swann" might be SwannLol. Any other names you recognize?
