Who won what, Saturday 25th September - huge day ahead for Adam Bromley

Morning.

Was a very poor night for MTT traffic with misses galore. Not sure why, but perhaps the Boxing contributed. Liverpool played the "late" match but that finished at 7.15pm so I don't think we can blame that. Let's hope we see a bounce-back tonight. As you may notice from the Results, a whole load of the usual suspects were AWOL last night.

In sport, Brentford decided to fight fire with fire & decided to give Liverpool a dose of their own all-attack high octane attacking football & we were treated to a 3-3 draw, perhaps the most exciting game so far this season. Just a few miles to the east, Manchester City came to Stamford Bridge & defeated what most think is a very good Chelsea side. Leeds lost yet again, & are having a torrid season.

In boxing, Joshua was comprehensively defeated by a far better fighter in Usyk, & there were no excuses.

Finally, in the Ryder Cup Europe are getting a good hiding, 11-5 down with just today's singles to go. The bookies make USA 1/25, with Europe out with the washing at 40/1.

To me, Golf is a sport for Gentleman (& Ladies) & I could weep when I see what usually dignified players are doing in the Ryder Cup - see the video below. I'm sorry, but chucking beer cans at pro golfers is not something that should be encouraged. Once you take the cork out of that bottle you can never replace it. Ugh. Best regards, Miserable Old Git.

    7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£700)

Two years on from winning a Mini Sharpshooter roriesdad roared back into the winner's circle after taking 7 @ 7. Spent most of Friday & Saturday playing £0.25 DYM's & Freerolls, so a £175 bink is presumably quite meaningful.

    Serial cashee RCord was 2nd.

4th was denisDigby which seems to me to be a really cool alias.

Quite a night for ufud, winning the £1,000 BH, then popping up in a £100 Heads Up Turbo which he also won.

RCord, 2nd in the 7 @ 7, did it again.

Again, great to see SR23 mixing it in the MTT's, was 2nd in MidEx 18 or so hours earlier & then 6th here.

    £6,000 Sharpshooter (£6,000)

With so many regulars missing last night we were treated to a few less obvious names winning, & that certainly applied in the Main. It went to chippsrus, who won his seat in one of two £7.20 satellites he played & went on to take the Main & some £960.

Same applies to runner-up lewbob who enjoyed his best cash since 2016 when he finished 5th in the old "Iceman" Main. I can't recall why it was called "Iceman", maybe it was a freezeout?

    £2,000 Mini Sharpshooter (£2,000)

neenio had a god session, 7th in the Main & winning the Mini, so he was a hair's breadth away from the FTJ, which would have made three times this week it's been paid. Unluckily (for him) & luckily (for Sky Poker...) he came up one spot shy in the Main.

    £1,000 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,000)

Well at least we have some familiar names & friendly faces here as MattBates took down the Mega.

In 2nd was my old mate ctbn who I very much hope to see at SPT Manchester. He comes across online as a bit off but he's such a fun guy.

MAXALLY is getting up a head of steam, he was 5th & this was his 3rd FT in 24 hours, twice in the Mega & once in Sheriff. Even better, he gained entry to all three via Satellites, so he got in for a pittance & must have made a nice few bob.

    @MattBates 440000 1 £207.20 + £150.30 Head Prizes 10

    £1,500 Reload Rebuy B/Hunter (£1,500)

LitlGenral has been crushing the 7 @ 7 recently, 1st, 2nd & 1st in the space of 3 nights, & last night he turned his attention to winning Reload. Talking of FTJ's, he won the whole £5,000 in it 2 years ago.

Wonderful news from GUKPT Leeds where Adam Bromley, aka bromley04, sits in 2nd place of the remaining 19 runners as they enter the final day. Over £72,000 to the winner, so it's a pretty big deal for Adam. VBOL today mate.

A few other familiar names still in including Stu Rutter who many of you will remember from the days of Sky Poker TV.

There is also a player named James Williams, who I hope is lJAMESl, who used to be one of the biggest players on Sky Poker back in the day & was often nicknamed "Pretty Boy". Lovely lad, part of the Swindon Massive.

Could not think what music to put up today, but Elton John can never be a bad choice.

    Great result for @bbMike

Spent most of the tournament on his table, and also @Doooobs who busted just before the money in this, but had a good 3rd in the Turbo.

Very tough opponents, who along with the likes of @thisltedu, @mp33, @QUICKFEET, @Cammykaze and others we had been working on our games together, a year or so back (was it really that long ago)

So really pleased to see him take this down. @Doooobs has always been a great player and @thisltedu recent record in the mini's that he's been playing has been outstanding.

So it is good to see the nice guys doing well. :D

Adam has made FT. Also James, who is the Sky lad, has made the final 9 too. Unfortunately Mr Rutter missed out. I think he finished about 15th.

Adam Bromley was 4th for £18,850.

I believe (not certain) James Williams was 2nd for £51,890.

    Stu Rutter busted quite early.
