Morning.
Good to see MTT traffic bounce back last night after a poor set of numbers on Saturday. The Major came in at £15,100, the joint highest for 4 or 5 months. I love this time of year, when it gets colder, & the dark nights lengthen, & we see poker traffic rebound.
In sport, & as expected, the USA absolutely shellacked Europe, 19-9, the biggest winning margin I can ever recall. It was quite interesting, in many ways, to see a very emotional Rory piping his eye in an interview afterwards. Quite surprised me, tbh.
The big news in football was Arsenal turning over Spurs with ease, & actually looking really good. Hard to know if Arsenal were excellent or Spurs were dire actually. Probably a bit of both. Arsenal have now zoomed up the table & are not far behind the big clubs, Brentford for example.
In F1, Lewis Hamilton won in Russia, with Max Verstappen 2nd. There's a surprise. Lando Norris should have won it but he threw it away due to a) inexperience & b) not listening to good advice from his pit.

7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£945)
September is almost over but kidadam, playing just his 7th MTT of the month, took 7 @ 7. Had some decent results last year actually, including 5th in a BWBH.
Runner-up bakersdoze is on the upgrade, he won this one night last week & took down a Mini in June. Can't help wondering if 13 is his lucky number?

heellloooo, who took a BWBH last month, added the £6,000 BH to his increasingly impressive CV.
fishhhhh, who took an Avenger Main last month, was 2nd, with Jay119 3rd.
Fresh from winning Turbo a few nights earlier, Shrimpy was 5th & then went on to make a deep run into 10th of 174 in the Mini Major.

£12,000 Sunday Major (£15,100)
Palace Bloke won the Major for the 2nd time in three weeks. He really is a beast. If Palace beat Brighton tonight his life will be complete.
In 2nd skyflyer enjoyed her best result for a very long time, if not best ever. Both 1st & 2nd are super aggro, so it would have been a fun HU duel.
fishhhhh, 2nd in the earlier £6,000 BH, followed up with 3rd here.
Quick shoutout to Stefan694, he won his seat in a Freeroll earlier in the week & took home £196.30 for a very creditable 17th.

£1,500 Mini Major (£1,740)
balamar, who took down a Sharpshooter Main last month, won the Mini from the excellent chrisdboy.
3rd was skyflyer, & as she was 2nd in the Main, became the 3rd FTJ winner in the last week, picking up a £750 bonus. I say "she", I'm not certain of that but I sense that's the case.
spearsy136 has had a bit of a flat month but resumed an upward trajectory with 4th, & in addition won a little PLO comp. Good to see we still have a few players of the great 4 card game here.

£1,000 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,280)
The Mega fell to seikus. Like Palace Bloke, seikus has won the Major twice recently, in the case of seikus twice since late August.
2nd was telstar1, presumably a satellite specialist.
What a night for skyflyer - 2nd in the Main, 3rd in Mini, 3rd in Mega & 5th in Quickdraw, plus ofd course that £750 FTJ bonus. That's a good night by any standards.

£1,500 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£2,000)
Sheriff tends to be dominated by a select band of players so it was good to see a new name at the top, in this case JERBGZ. No surprise though, is a very decent player judging by recent results from a small sample size which includes a Predator Main & a Quickdraw.
A very tough renewal too, even by the standards of Sheriff, with roddy28 - who recently won the full £5,000 SPJ - in 2nd, big-hitter RUNITSRANN 3rd, Curt360x 4th, & Crushy 6th.
A superb session for fishhhh, 2nd in the £6k BH, 3rd in the Major & 5th here.

£1,500 Reload Rebuy B/Hunter (£1,563)
A second Reload win in 5 nights for hhammerhea, who seems to have filled every FT position in it in recent months. Knows what stake he has an edge & sticks to it, & does very nicely. One of those players who really enjoys his poker without getting too hung up.
LitlGenral came oh-so-close to winning this on successive nights, coming up one spot shy of the double. Prior to that was doing the same thing in 7 @ 7, & in addition, won the full £5,0000 FTJ a few years ago.

£1,500 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£1,680)
The Sharky graph of whitters95 gets ever steeper, and after taking Friday's Avenger Main he took Saturday off & then returned last night & took the Turbo.
In 3rd was BlairReid, who I am hoping to meet again at the SPT. Think we last met at a Glasgow SPT unless my memory is worse than I thought. I certainly remember being completely owned by him.

In other news...
As you may have read elsewhere, Adam Bromley had a splendid result in the Leeds GUKPT, finishing 4th for £18,850. Half of that, of course, goes to Natalie.
Even better, James Williams, aka Pretty Boy, once a big time player here, was 2nd for £51,890.
Congrats to the pair of them, I'm lucky to count them both as good personal friends.
Puff Daddy time, or whatever his name is these days.

Think it may have been Nottingham if you're thinking of the game where @chrisdonkb was sat between us. You had a pretty sizeable bounty, which may or may not have influenced the hands we played. We have shared tables at SPT Glasgow, but I didn't fare as well at any of those. I'm yet to register an SPT cash on home turf, delighted that it looks like I'm gonna be able to have another roll of the dice next year.
Anyway, all this nostalgia has got me doubling down on my desire to come to Manchester. I'm off to get booked up. Hopefully I can telstar1 my way to a few seats.
@BlairReid
Ahh yes, you are right, it was Nottingham. And yes, it does not help when I was the only one at the table with a bounty on my head. Plus, I'm useless, which is a bad combo.
PS - well done on picking up on my dreadful telstar pun.
@stokefc
Rather like your taste in football clubs then, eh?
@stokefc
I think the music taste thing ids because you are too old for my musical tastes, I tend to run with da kidz.
