    The Final Table had a combined 27 WSOP Bracelets but the winner was not amongst them (until now), he had not cashed in an MTT for 11 years, is not a pro, but is a reasonable sized cash game player.

    "I just came out here to play this event and go home Sunday," said Klein, who according to The Hendon Mob had just $23,100 in lifetime earnings before the win. "I have a wife and two kids – a six-year-old girl and a three-year-old son. I came out here to play this event and that's it. Maybe I'll come back out here since I won this.

    Klein continued: "I'm feeling great. It was a lot of fun. The players were awesome, it was an awesome structure. I'm feeling good. I play poker to win, but I don't play poker professionally. The H.O.R.S.E. event is what I wanted to play. I love all the different games. It's just fun."

    Love it. Seems a decent sort, too.

    GB's Benny Glaser, seen here congratulating the winner, was 2nd, not bad considering he only landed in Vegas on Day 1.

    Event #4: The Reunion No-Limit Hold'em ($500 entry)

    Today is still only the 3rd (of 3) opening flights, so I don't think we'll worry about this one yet.

    Days 1A & 1B attracted some 7,000 entries, of whom around 500 survive. Today should be a bigger field, so Day 2 will likely see not far shy of 1,000 players. Everyone who makes Day 2 will be in the money - even the late exits on the opening flights cashed actually.

    Event #5: Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better ($1,500 entry)

    Just 15 left in this, with the extraordinary Robert Mizrachi (pictured) well placed in 2nd. Unsurprisingly, there is no GB representation at the sharp end, it's not a game many Brits play.

    Amongst those still in is GB's Paul Newey who is a tax exile in Jersey these days.

    Paul was the founder of Ocean Finance, the first big player in the "Payday Loans" business. He & his partners sold it for some £200 million, since when Paul has travelled the world playing Super High Rollers. He's had some success, including 7th in the $1 milly One Drop for $1,400,000. Overall his "winnings" amount to nearly $5,000,000 though I doubt he's made much if any profit.

    He's also a high roller slots player. Yes, you read that right.

    Likes a gamble does Paul. His Wiki page states;

    Newey is an avid gambler. On 4 January 2005 Newey nearly broke the bank at Birmingham's Genting Casino Star City where he won £3 million and forced owner Stanley Leisure to issue a profit warning. The casino value declined by 12% as a result of Newey's win. Newey lost his winnings later that month.

    Here's his full Wiki;

    @green_beer

    100% agree that Mixed Game poker is the best, though I have to be honest & say it's highly unlikely we will see them on Sky Poker, at least not in the foreseeable future.
