As soon as I saw the lineup for that QT, I knew it was going to be appalling.
The unexpected good bit was Geoff Norcott. Not liked him in the past. Still don't agree with a lot of what he says, but he made his case with both eloquence and balance.
Suella Braverman is simply appalling. Banging on endlessly, trying to hog the limelight. Insisting she be allowed to talk as long as she wants. Yet constantly interrupting everyone else. While talking total rubbish.
There are some truly awful people in Government. But she is, to my mind, comfortably the worst.

That Sunday Telegraph headline "pounds and ounces are back in time for Jubilee". This sort of faux patriotism is pathetic.
1. Anyone is perfectly entitled to display prices on pounds, as well as kilograms. The reason most don't is simple-only about 25% of the population now relate to pounds and ounces. And dividing stuff by 10 is rather easier than 14, then 16. What next? Pecks and bushels?
2. The "good old British pound". Or, to give it its proper title, the "Avoirdupois pound". It is French. And replaced by the French over 100 years ago as being hopelessly outdated.

This corrupt Government will try and blame the invasion of Ukraine.
Whereas the reality is that that is largely irrelevant to the current crisis. That is pain further down the road.
Say Nay in May....
I logged in to my bank account this morning to find that EDF have not amended my direct debit. So I am still paying £124 per month. After a visit to their website, I found that they review direct debits twice per year. This seems foolish in the current climate, as you could be owing them a lot of money, by the time they get around to increasing it. Although you are able to increase the payments yourself, which I have now done. My new payment on the standard variable is £221 per month. They are offering a fixed for 2 years deal at £277 per month, which I am considering, but am not convinced yet.

The other thing I wondered about is that according to EDF my bill is split equally between electricity, and gas. When it was £124, it was £62 for each. This surprised me as I have gas central heating, and a gas cooker. So the electricity to power a couple of TVs, lights, microwave, kettle, washing machine, etc, costs the same as the heating, hot water, and cooking. I find this surprising.
